I think it's just supposed to show that the new head fits better than the original and allows the nosecone to tab in better.

Thinking about it, I would probably get this set if it came in blue for Doubledealer. I know it's probably not cannon, but that skeletal face would help differentiate DD from Blitzy.

Those 2 random pieces appear to be shoulder fixes.
It's a shame, because I find the head and face sculpts to be more G1-ish than the SXS offering.

Do we have a price/release date? I might get this instead of the SXS set. As I've said in a previous post, I like that the head is somewhat blocky and more G1-ish looking. Also, the face options are a nice touch.

I had decided to sell my Blitzwing until I got the SXS upgrade kit the other day and I couldn't be happier with the shoulder fixes and the new head. So I guess Dr. Wu's kit is a bit late for me this time.
Oh and btw, it's the first time I bought reprolabels but both Blitz and Springer look SO much better with them

Reprolabels does good work. I have a couple of Scourge set for my Sweeps, and look forward to stickering up my Metroplex when I can put aside 3+ hours to do so...
On this Dr. Wu kit... the question remains: price/release date??
