Well at least their not overly long Gorilla arms like most Combiners Wars Gestalts have.
On the PE upgrade thread, when I said the CW combiners had monkey arms, you defended them and said they look fine.
Please stop tring to flame bait me into replying to you. This is the fourth thread today you seeded with a flame bait towards me.
What part of, your being ignored, don't you understand.
The part of "your being ignored" I dont understand is the part where you reply to my comments and the part where you create threads to argue with my stances.
Call it whatever you want, but the bottom line is youre contradicting what you said on another thread about CW combiners. Im merely pointing it out so you can offer an explanation for the flip flopping...
So that answers the "Black Rodimus" question, just sell the pre-release molds with some extra paintTsutsukakushi wrote:
Burn wrote:Tsutsukakushi ... seriously, I am directing you to put Rated X on your ignore list. You clearly cannot control yourself. You're clearly not ignoring him. I am sick to death of intervening between you two.
And RX, you know how sensitive he is, just ignore him as well.

Well **** it then, if shajiki is going to hang around these places he can deal with you two then.

Good point AG, I think it's because Classics is a modern interpretation of G1, for example I had no problem with City Commander and Protector in my collection despite the end result not being show accurate, because there were Has/Tak figures in my collection that were not show accurate (United Megatron and Generation Blurr for example). However Masterpiece is different, it's supposed to be and so far has been a slavish recreation of G1, mainly a combination of toy and show accuracy, DX9 have yet to pull that off IMO, they've been close, and I think Carry is the closest they have come, but it still feels a little off.

There's also the fact there are so many ways C/G isn't show accurate. The aesthetics of Classics is different than the aesthetics of Universe is different than the aesthetics of Generations is different than the aesthetics of Fall of Cybertron is different than the aesthetics of IDW Generations / Combiner Wars. There's so much that can be shoehorned into a C/G collection because the styles over the years have changed - 3rd Parties' slight deviation from the norm is OK because there isn't really a norm, so to speak.
Masterpiece on the other hand, is extremely consistent - deviations from that aesthetic are not only much more noticeable from an aesthetic sense, but also contradict the philosophy (if I can call it that) or mission of the line.
Tsu... I really think you missed Megatronus' point. TT MP's aren't under sculpted. They're slavish to G1 cartoon aesthetics.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Most of the HasTak MP TF toys I think are under sculpted and some show budgets constraints. Don't want my Third party MP TF toys to match this.

rpetras wrote: it just isn't show accurate enough for me to replace the existing MP Roddy.
Buuuut... the MP line is currently based entirely on the G1 cartoon model. It's fine if you don't prefer the aesthetic, but what it sounds like you're saying is you want an MP scale, but C/G aesthetic. Which you could conceivably do, but the collection would likely be 100% 3P cause HasTak obviously ain't goin that route.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Think modeling newer update G1 TF toys as close as possible to the G1 Animation is a bad thing. As that G1 Animation was done on the cheap, rush and is outdated.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:rpetras wrote: it just isn't show accurate enough for me to replace the existing MP Roddy.
DX9 Rodimus is the way I and some others fans originally wanted Takara to design their MP Rodimus Prime toy like.
