If you're talking about the tv series, then yeah, I agree. But TF:The movie is an entirely different beast that can still stand its ground today.

Buuuut... the MP line is currently based entirely on the G1 cartoon model. It's fine if you don't prefer the aesthetic, but what it sounds like you're saying is you want an MP scale, but C/G aesthetic. Which you could conceivably do, but the collection would likely be 100% 3P cause HasTak obviously ain't goin that route.

Would Consider DX9 Rodimus a MP toy. As it has the MP 10 matching scale. MP needed articulation. No short cuts. High sculpt. Tries it's best to merge the G1 toy and G1 Cartoon designs into a fusion toy. Don't see any weird neo G1 CHUG aesthetic on DX9 Rodimus.

These I consider MP TF toys. TW Evila Star, UT Provider Octane, X-T Megatron, X-T Scourge, X-T Cyclonus and KFC Wreckgar.

This will be my last reply on this discussion. As I dislike getting into multiple endless replies debates.

I'd argue that is more discriptive of MP-09 than Carry, given the mobile command base feature.

It's not exactly G1 cartoon accurate or G1 toy accurate but it seems to be a pretty good balance of both. Yet, it's not a "modern update" like CHUG figures usually are.

Yes, and if all MP toys did that (take the best features of G1 cartoon/G1 toy) I'd only be buying MP.

Yes it does!! Still trying to figure out where all the parts go. Does everyone think the transformation is gonna be crazy complex or similar to AoE Voyager Galvatron (backpackformer, which I'm ok with if it works!!)? The legs are the base of the Winnebago, probably gonna be completely empty though.
