The Energon Pub

So we know in ROTF that they need energon to keep from aging and falling apart or going dormant like Jetfire. And that the hatchlings need more energon to survive. But has it been established in the movie comics how often they need to tank up? We do get to hear the doctor say the shard made energon for Megatron. But how often would all the others need to recharge? The impression I get is not very often.

Maybe every few hundred years or so? Since the seekers eventually ran out it seems, but had operated here for some time apparently.
