I'm still kinda sad we don't get Dinobots, because I think with the back story premise for the Fallen and Jetfire, the Dinobots would be quite plausible. Still Grimlock et al kicking butt would ruin the ESB style bleakness that this movie is rumoured to have.

While on the subject Megan Fox's lips could get bigger through simple pouting excercises. Amirite?

That was incredible! Looks like Blackout is back, I wonder if we'll be getting a remould of him. Optimus looks like he'll be doing all kinds of stuff, Devastator is gigantic, Bubmlebee kicks butt in the scene with Rampage, the Fallen is incredible, Starscream is a killer now it looks like, CAN"T WAIT!!!

The twins look ike they're in that place where the Fallen is, we got those pictures of that painting a while beack, maybe the Fallen kills them first.

can't wait, i'll get them all in every scale they come out in, chromia looks awesome, wheel-foot-haters should rethink their thoughts. makes me want to go out and get a blue unicycle! i'm completely wowed by this clip/trailer, can't wait for the cinematic release!!!

now if only an unfinished cut of the film could get leaked that doesn't suck as bad as wolverine, what am i saying? of coarse it wont suck!

Yeah im bringing my PSP when i see this crap. That way i can just skip all the BS parts (like this clip) and just watch the pretty explosions and giant walking piles of scrap beating the crap out of each other. Barricade (Sideways) looks cool though and im glad Blackouts back. Thank god for movie passes. I hope the next movie is about 10-15 years in the future that way no more Shia. I really hate him. Hes a horrible actor. I will gladly sacrifice looking at Fox to get rid of him. TF3 needs to be like the G1 movie. Set in the future and focuses on the bots, no more of this human BS. And it needs a new writing crew. I dont care if Bay directs as long as he has no say in the writing and look of the bots. I still say Dave Hayter should pen the next script.

I previewed 3 posts and not one of them conveyed the proper message I was looking for...

If you don't remember a time when the Simpsons didn't exist, you're not going to know, but you might understand.

Sex, drugs, murder, theft, etc... these things were in movies back then, but they were conveyed in a negative light. With the exception of the post 'resurrection' love blossom between hero and heroine, these things were the sole concern of the villains and their henchmen.

Nowadays, you can't be a good guy without one of these topics being a character trait. That type of character is known as an anti-hero [Vegeta, BW Dinobot, Batman, etc.]. So then where are the Heroes?

They are not here. In fact, The last 'Hero' I actually saw was Superman in Superman Returns. An Icon, an ambitious do-gooder who thinks nothing for himself, someone to look up to, to take after. Frodo was another one.

Let's take a look at some of our recent Anti-heroes:
Vin Diesel in anything, Jason Statham in anything, Jason Bourne, Mr. Anderson/Neo, Survivors in any horror movie, Anything by Quentin Tarantino, Batman, Anakin Skywalker, Any Mafia Movie, Any Stoner Movie, Wolverine...

The list goes on and this is just since 2000.

I guess I should get to my point. The heroes that are presented to me by hollywood are anything but heroic, or even good for that matter. Even Optimus Prime, the most heroic of Autobots, opted for suicide in the face of defeat...

This trailer, or whatever, shows me to expect more of the same nothing message... It's ok to go from bad guy to Anti-hero, because good guy to hero is to hard to write. Cue special effects...

Now, onto the footage itself.
HOT DIGGITY DAMN.

Bumblebee was incredible, I loved it. Devastator just absolutely wowed me. Optimus getting his brains beat out was insane. And The Doctor shoving something in Sam's mouth...a little weird...

All in all, this just made the wait for the film quite a bit more difficult than it already is.

Sorry not all of us here ride the Bay bandwagon :roll:

It's funny how people can bash the G1 fans but we should bow down to the rest of you. I thought this was a free country anyway, and I should be entilted to my opinion and sorry it doesn't go with the grain. We all have likes and dislikes about Transformers but in the end we still like Transformers as a whole. May be you get a reality check and don't take yourself so seriously. I was just poking fun but if you think I'm trolling and bashing by all means says what you will. I've been collecting Transformers before most of you were even born and it's the one truly awesome hobby by any means. So don't tell me what I can or can't say because I'm by no means saying you can't like this movie, I'm sure it will have alot of stong points as we'll but a crying Transformer is lame period :twisted:

Well, it looks like the writing quality has not improved over the first one. But the reason I WILL go see it apparently has: the special effects and fight scenes look even more amazing. When the first one came out, I was hoping they would do it justice, but the writers are talentless hacks. They slaughtered what could have been a good story. Looks to be the same here. But as I said, I will go see it for the reason I see any other Bay flick: ACTION.

TF cartoons have mostly been action mixed with comedy and not always having the best writing -- aside from arguably BW and TFA.

Fast forward to the 2007 TF Movie and now TF:RotF. Why should we expect anything other than action mixed with comedy from a mythology that's been full of that? So... I think the writing is arguably better than the TF cartoon lore (I'm not an expert on the comics,... so I can't really comment of those) and is written in a way that people who have not been immersed in Transformers before can still enjoy the movie. And you know we have not been exposed to the main plot -- so we're really only commenting on what we've seen from this clip and the short action highlight sequences we've seen in this and the previous trailers.

Here is my take:

1) The Witwicki (sp) house has seen some serious action. The garage is busted up and the back of the house has a hose about fifteen feet diameter hole blasted in it (1:30-1:33). In other clips, Bumblebee was shown doing a barrel roll through Mr. Witwicki’s yard with blaster ready. I think Bee is getting a little cagey and overreacts to something mundane (or at least appears to be mundane). This causes Sam to separate from his guardian, which leaves him vulnerable to the Decepticons.
2) The Egypt fight scene (1:36) happens after Prime’s fight with Megatron. I say this because the facial damage is evident (see 2:12-2:14 for comparison).
3) At mark 1:41, just after Scavenger busts up a helicopter, it looks like there is another large bot moving in the upper right-hand portion of the frame.
4) Starscream hawks a loogie on Sam (1:46).
5) Optimus is hunting Starscream in what looks to be an abandoned factory (1:48). Starscream I looking for Prime, and Optimus is ninja-stealth while hanging from the ceiling. He then appears to get the drop on Screamer. This might be part of the kicking sequence.
6) Mark 1:50 has something really funky going on. Not sure what is happening other than it is an unknown bot that is getting blasted through the torso by some substantial firepower.
7) Chromia is really slinging some lead into Sideways (1:52).

Jetfire is at the Boneyard (1:59) when he is complaining about his “itchy, wretched, th/rust in my aft.”
9) I agree that it is Mixmaster on the Brooklyn Bridge (2:02).
10) Rampage and Bumblebee are having a row (2:04-2:05) but Rampage is red while his toy is yellow.
11) It looks like Prime is kneeling before Megatron (2:06) moments before bucket-head does a roundhouse kickaroo to his face. Could he be begging for Megatron’s help to fight the Fallen?
12) Blackout is without at doubt seen at mark 2:09-2:10.
13) Mark 2:18 Scalpel is forcing some sort of Matrix-esque device down Sam’s throat.
14) I said this once before, but Megan Fox is wearing a wedding/engagement ring (2:19).
15) Megatron is throwing some bot to the roof of a building (2:19).
16) Scalpel (EDIT--after looking at my stills it is Wheelie) is cracking a safe at 2:21.
17) Megatron, is firing his BFG, which I still think is Ravage, at mark 2:21.
18) At mark 2:22, Prime is shooting at Megatron with what appears to be two guns while Starscream is running at him from behind.
19) Sideswipe is thrown or leaping through the air (2:22).
20) Prime really lays a punch on Megatron in the final frame before the title rolls.

Quite possibly because I do remember someone saying that the end battle would take place in Egypt.

Watched it multiple times but I don't see anything but the factory, but I could be wrong

It appears that it's just a ground shot looking up at Prime as he leaps out of hiding cause you can see the roof with the sky shining through the panels and the next image has Megs below Prime.

I see alot of redish or pink on this bot. Possibly one of the motorbikes getting wasted.
