Has anyone else noticed that the teaser poster of the Fallen resembles the head of a pharaoh. Not the face of course, but surrounding the head. Kinda fits in with the Egyptian stuff in the new movie. Any thoughts???

Actually, looking at that, his face really resembles the Decepticon insignia. But I can see what you mean about the Pharaoh thing, and it's an idea that's been visited in fiction multiple times.

I read that part of the movie is discovering that ancient Transformers visited Egypt way back when and inspired pieces of Egyptian culture. Maybe this is evidence for it.

Well you're damn right! I photoshopped this poster so I was able to see almost every detail. The upper and lower parts of The Fallen's face also fits perfectly!!! I'm impressed and shocked. Egypt, pyraminds and now this. Thanks David!

It was the silliest incident that brought Nannette into my life.buy wow gold, I had been in my local supermarket and spent more than I should. Ok now we've seen Fallen's toy. I focused on his face and he still resembles pharoh, especially his chin. I wonder how It will be explained in the movie.

They filmed part of the movie in Egypt, right? Ancient Transformer goes to Egypt, teaches people to build (I'm not betting on the Aliens Built Pyramids cliche), then decides to take a 5000 year nap in the pyramids.

I imagine The Fallen beign somehow disconnected as Megatron so people could worship him and build pyramids around him.

I was a big fan of AvP universe before the movie release. I was really fascinated with Predator's habits and lifecycle and I think the idea of Predators teaming with humans was retarded. Anyway it still can be possible in TF movie but I think It can be risky.

Being a big fan of Egyptian mythos, I'm glad the Fallen is also an admirer :grin:

So far, the most powerful being in this continuity is the inter-dimensional being of the Fallen, yes? (unless the All Spark itself possesses the spirit of Primus or something) But if the Fallen can transform, why does it say that the All Spark *created* the Transformers to *help* the Fallen's race to search for suns? Isn't the Fallen himself a TF?

I would put this list of power like this - any amendments you'd suggest?

1 or N/A: All Spark (since it created the Fallen's race)

2. The Fallen and his brothers (inter-dimensional beings)

3. Megatron/holders of the Prime Dynasty (still not sure what this is, exactly)

4. All Transformers before they became Autobots/Decepticons

Actually, the Fallen looks a LOT more like Akhenaten than Tutankhamun (the gold mask everyone's showing). Akhenaten was the guy who tried to replace the Egyptian panoply of gods with one monotheistic sun god. Might be interesting if they tried to correlate Akhenaten's 'reforms' with the arrival of the Fallen.

I don't like the Fallen/Pharaoh idea, its almost as bad as the reversed engineered Megatron giving us technology as we know it today idea

so that's why some of those ancient egyptian symbols found in the ancient temples look like helicopters,and other vehicles..there really some transformers buried under the pyramids.

that helicopter symbol looks a lot like springer's helicopter mode.
