Okay, this is pretty cool. I'm tempted to get this, and throw it on my G1 combiner shelf just to mess with people, especially my friends who had a lot of Transformers back in the day and think they remember all the characters. Then maybe I can make something up about getting these guys at a flee market or antique shop, that they are really rare and worth way more than the $20 I paid for the set. I'm actually liking this set more and more.

I was not exited about these at all in the beginning. Now that I have seen more pics and videos of them I really want them. I don't know if someone answered this before but is their a price tag and release date for these figures?

Price:
$30-35.00 per limb, $50 for Tusker. (If the low end price holds, the entire Glacialord set will be $170.00, or $190.00 on the high end.)

Release date:
Supposedly next week, or the following from the usual suspects.

Not necessarily directed just to you, but it's kinda sad that some folks are so up in arms about not liking this set because it's not a). an undated [re: modern] homage and b). not official characters. For those who collect G1 (or at least can appreciate the humble beginnings of this line we love so much), this is some of the ultimate 2nd gen stuff you can get. A friggin combiner/headmaster set. Yes, he's a brick, but isn't there some appreciation for the "brick house"? Also, taking Ice Age creatures and making them a team was interesting.

For those who can't get past the blockiness of G1 aesthetic, it's your preference and I certainly don't begrudge you. I just think this was a pretty wonderful idea that took many cues from the past and made something new, and dare I say, attractive.

Looking forward to pre-orders on these guys, I may need to manuever a few other pre-orders since I feel these are just ready to hit online retailers' doorsteps at any moment. I just wonder how feasible it is for FP to get these guys, M3/Diesel/Motormaster, and QuadU/Weirdwolf out so close to each other.

These don't interest me,as they don't look that good. it's also hard enough spending the big bucks for the 3rd party Transformers toys.

We just got word from our freight carrier that due to a catastrophic event, our entire shipment of Megazero figures has been destroyed. Here's the message quoted from our carrier:

"We regret to inform you that your part of the goods does not reach. You have shipped the whole amount of RF-GB03 action figures, RF-gb04 action figures and RF-GB05 figure. In your ship launch, we find a mistake, one of your product is improperly moved to another shipment container. When we tried to find the right product and during exercise lifting RF-GB05 megazero, all box RF-GB05 has breached the side of our transport ship and has been lost. The CTNS has sunk in our oceans, is not able to efficiently retrieve. Coincidently the crane operator was examining your megazero product for his own enjoyment when he was not pay attention to what he was doing and caused this mistake.

This is our mistake, we will work with you to quickly resolve this issue and provide assistance to restore your product. We are very sorry for this, and can not give more consideration to your situation. In any case we will help to ensure that your product can recover for your customers. We have notified your manufacturer dispatch of this situation by phone, they will provide more information to us today."

We at FP Core are devastated and can only picture in our minds what a cruel demise Megazero has had sinking to the bottom of the ocean floor. We are working on a solution with the manufacturer to make sure that all pre-orders get fulfilled ASAP. We are informed that we will still receive the same amount of figures produced as originally intended so we can still stick with our release plans as closely as possible.

We will also be shipping out Tusker and Razorspike as they arrive. For those who have already ordered Megazero together with Tusker and Razorspike, we will ship Megazero out at our expense when he arrives at a later date.

We will keep you updated on this situation.

That part of the story (plus the fact that they actually mentioned it in the report of the incident) made me think that this was just a joke. I mean really, why would they bother to mention that incidentally the crane operator was examining one of the toys at the time?

Oh well, the delay is a real bummer for those who ordered this guy. Hopefully they'll get the replacements out soon for you guys.

Can we confirm this news story? I could see this being some clever way of explaining the "damaged" boxes.

On the other hand, did some of the Glacialbots already ship?

Either way this is indeed one of the craziest stories I have ever heard...
