Got Comera last night. She's a fine figure. I like to have the tail straight up her back and split teh heads, cupping them in either side of the tail so it's all compact nicely. I originally inverted this but the tails don't stay up as well as the heads hang down. Which makes sense now I write that out. :HEADHURTS:

Just a shame her pistol pegs are too small to fit in her hip holsters properly. And she could have done with bicep swivels.

And I'm really digging the raptor mode. I find if you spin her robot hands 180, then it looks less like gloves and more like a proper wrist. I do feel she should be a bit cheaper given the plastic amount, but a fine addition to the dinobots.

Now I just need a name. Still going with Slash, but I'm not sure. And personality wise, I'm saying she's just as brutish and thuggish as the other Dinobots. Although she may offer you a hand of kindness to lower your guard and then rip the stuffing out of you.

Their Facebook said they would tryto finish all outstanding groups early in the year. I guess they failed. It has to be coming, they've shown off the prototype.

Im still down for a FP Snarl after seeing hasbros dinobots will be deluxe scale and combine. I need a team of G1 scaled dinobots. Hope Fansproject comes back from the dead.

Ok, just checked their facebook page and seems they haven't responded since Feb. Which worries me. I hope the company isn't dead. Otherwise, I need to find me another Snarl to complete the set (I already have planet X grimlock in with the FP dino's, so I'm not beyond another company's snarl, as long as the aethetics fit). I'm actually thinking of getting the Toyworld Snarl to finish the set off.

I think the demand for FP snarl is going to pick up due to Hasbro deciding to go the combiner route. Hopefully at least snarl gets made. The raptor twins were a fail. Not so much for the concept, but for the price. They should have been a 2 pack with a price around $110 for the set. More people would have pulled the trigger. This worked well with their rack n ruin set which sold out. People arent gonna spend 80 bucks each for 2 figures with same body, same color scheme, with only new heads. Thats a rip off.

I agree. That's why I'm glad they were only in single packs, so I only had to get one. Even then, I think the price should have been lowered. Or at least have one of the melee weapon master dudes the others all have. Or have more standard weapons. Something. She's a nice figure, but a little pricey for what she was. Although they do have inverted red and black colours too. I know it's not much but eh.

Heh, if you look at the FP facebook page, the comments are nothing but asking where Pinchar is. I've given up on them. They've taken too long so they lost my money. I've ordered the toyworld Snarl instead. At least his gold chrome will match that on raptor girl's tail.

No one here said anything so i assume they didn't. That's the thing. There was a black prototype of pinchar at tfnation last year. That was a whole year ago! Nothing since that. They promised at the start of Jan they were going to finish the sets early this year. Last anyone heard from them was a facebook message from feb saying there had been a delay in pinchar but the staff was all away for chinese new year so they would have to wait. Nothing from them since that.

I'm a patient man but even i run out eventually. Maybe they have gone under, or in some kind of trouble? Or they all moved into maketoys? Tfn is in a couple of weeks, I'll ler you know if they show off pinchar again.

Thanks. If I was going, I would definitely ask around about FPs status. I would probably try asking the toy dojo duo who used to do a lot of reviews of prototypes a while back. It seemed like they knew people in the industry.

Well.... there was no 3P stuf fon display at TFN. It was all brave stuff. And I missed the 3P panel so I'm afraid I can't give any information about the status of FP Snarl.

An unofficial Transformers convention with no 3rd party display? Even though they had a 3rd party pannel? Thats is lame. It makes me wonder if the pannel was given by some middle man rather than the actual designers.

I think it was given by people from Sid's Store. I don't know how involved they are in the 3P scene, but they gave the panel last year, and showed off images of prototypes for upcoming waves and were announcing stuff, so if they don't work for one, they are certainly deep in bed with various companies. Like maketoys Riotron was first revealed at the panel last year before it was released.

Just taking some time out to rethink some strategy's

I don't know who this guy is or what his connection is or where he heard that, but that's what he said. So it sounds like you'll be waiting a loooong time for your Snarl from them.

Okay, no, this is purely coincidence. But with the recent news of Legends Slash being a fembot Velociraptor, half of my plan to call the FP Fembot Dinos Slash and Smash gets the official treatment. :APPLAUSE:

Of course, if Hasbro actually comes out with another fembot called Smash, and is a Pachycephalosaurus, I may just end up selling all of my 3P stuff... :-s

Better late than never. I really need that snarl now that we know Hasbro is not interested in properly scaled Dinobots. If not, ill jump on a Toyworld Snarl. Also what ever happened to the 3rd freebie for buying the steelcore trailer? I got the orange powermaster and the rebirth Brainstorm head. Never got the 3rd freebie...

I do hope they finish this series up too. Between FP and Planet X, I have a complete set of Dinobots, including Paddles and Slash (plus Smash) but the aesthetics don't match well enough for me to mix and match. Plus, I have some duplicates...

I just got Severo - he's nice but I really don't like the use of duplicate parts rather than mirrored parts on FP toys it's darn cheap. He also can't hold his gun. the throne is poorly designed and fragile feeling and his tail is to short - the lack of should locks in robot mode is also pretty annoying too.

That said I do like the look overall - he's weird - but not as weird as FP can be. Like a lot of FP toys they seem to not give things a full pass on the design before releasing it so little things often just do not work well. Also would it have killed them to give you 2 weapon handles one - each for the weapon dudes ?

If they want to make some money sell a Monstructor giftset at a halfway sensible price (ideally with new combiner melee weapon).

Also make another G2 Stunticon. I'll keep buying Dinobots so long as they make them.. (that may be it) mostly for the little weapon dudes though. I do wish they all came with all the traditional weapons though - in the case of Severo that would mean his rocket launcher - but that is a problem across the board with 3rd party Dinobots hardly ever giving you that part.

Medium term I'll try to get the Toyworld ones and the Mech Fans toys ones and long term the Fall of Cybertron ones if I can ever find them. I'm not quite as bothered about the MP style ones - they are bit large - but if I trip over them I won't say no... I just like combiners best though overall - Dinobots are for a bit later on. But I do collect FP stuff in it's own right so that is why I bought Volar & Severo already.

Shame about that hook in the back. I think you can lower it a bit, but it doesn't look like it can be integrated more smoothly.

I gotta admit, since it's taken them so long to release this guy my enthusiasm has waned. I'll get it to complete my set, though.
