I like it. But im not gonna lie, it seems more like an upgrade for drag strip with a few other nitpicks thrown in to raise the price. I like the spoiler on breakdown. All the other random white pieces seen on menasor really arent important to me. Getting motormaster back to truck mode is already a nightmare without trying to cram more pieces inside of his trailer.

I don't think this add on kit adds anything of Significance.

Fair enough, this really is more of a Drag Strip overhaul but those other pieces do add a bit more to the fullness of the set. It does seem that the ideas are actually useful pieces of the puzzle, allowing for a Menasor insignia on his chest and filling out the forearms a bit. We'll just have to wait until the final product is available to deem how relevant the kit is.

Totally agree that this is a Dragstrip upgrade with other bits too.

But that, IMO, is a necessary thing.

Only way I would skip this is if a another 3P (TFC?) were to announce their Menasor before this releases.

Didn't Warbotron pretty much tease that their next combiner would be Menasor?

So yesterday, my Reprolabels order which included all of the sets for these guys arrived. They really look good! As you might be able to tell from my signature, I can't share photos right at this moment... But I'll be sure to do so soon!

(A bit off topic, but my order also had all of the labels for my Fansproject augmented Bruticus... I was a bit worried about color matching, since I have the newer version of Bruticus and his upgrades. But they worked well, and he looks great, too!)

Well, here's some photos of them all Reprolabeled up!

First, robot modes.

As a group:

Individually...

Breakdown:

Dead End:

Dragstrip:

Motormaster:

Image

(The stickers don't really add to Motormaster's armored up robot mode, so I didn't see a need to photograph that for these "sticker showing off" photos.)

Wildrider:

Image

Finally for today, Menasor! But with his limbs switched around a bit, all Scramble City style:

Image

I'll post some more pics in a day or so, of their stickered up vehicle modes, plus Menasor in a more standard layout and standing with a few of his combiner friends.

Nice set dude. I like how they aren't too flashy but add to the set really well.
Oh and nice job putting them all on too .I'm abit wonky when it comes to stickers.

A while ago I had to apply some labels to computers I built, serial numbers, warning labels, recycle-do not trash, etc. We used the tip of a small cable tie. It works really well. The labels stick just enough to work with, but the smooth surface allows for easy release once placed on the final surface. Just some advice. :D

You repolabel your computers? LOL!!! nice!
Hm... might have to give those a shot the flat tips will probably work better than the round tips of a toothpick. great idea!

Tweezers can be good too.

What we liked about the cable ties, in addition to the above comments (including Mookcake's shrewd observation that the flat surface offers some degree of control) is the fact that the cable ties offered less opportunity to scratch the surface we were applying labels to as well as the labels themselves.

I still need to work on writing more concise...

Honestly, more worried about snippin' a fingertip off. Although, I've gotten pretty good at dealing with the blade so it doesn't get too close to the skin.

As for scratching, not really. I think I made a tiny scuff mark (and I do mean tiny) but the label covered it up. Actually, I've done more damage to the labels themselves than anything else. lol

Myself, I use a combination of a metal dental pick (which is also handy when I need to poke or pry something during transformation that my fingernails aren't enough for), a razor blade, and a toothpick.

Even then, though, one has to be careful. While labeling Metroplex (which is still a work in progress) I dropped a small sticker in a way that it fell inside Metroplex's chest, and I had to disassemble his entire upper body to retrieve it! That was a pain in the arse.

Anyway, sorry for the delay in the promised additional pics. I've been preoccupied with other matters. But soon! Tomorrow or Monday.

Hmm... Ugly colouring and cheep looking plastic (although some of that impression, I will admit, could just be due to the lighting and photography), seemingly a simplified mold (judging by the feet and the wrists)... Now this is how a KO should be! I'm sick of these almost perfect duplicates. Give me the shoddy and obviously lesser quality items that will be little threat to the legitimate product any day!

I wonder, if they make all five, if it will still combine? I'm almost giddy to see what they'll do with Diesel/Motormaster in the process of simplifying him.

Hey, anybody out there remember that website I have, that I haven't done a proper update to since, like, last fall? The one where once upon a time I would review Transformers? Well, I finally decided to do a new update, and what better way to ease myself back into things then by choosing a small and simple toy to review?

So, of course, I said, "To hell with that!" and instead went with writing a review of the Fansproject Stunticons!

Many (but not all) of the photos included are ones I may have shared earlier in this thread, and my thoughts on the set have also been explored a bit here, but in this review you can find all of it all together and expanded upon, all in one hopefully entertaining to read article. Enjoy! (Hopefully!)

You did an awesome job with those reprolabels. If the damn figure wasn't so damn complex, I would do the same thing. And yes I envy your patience with transforming Menasor. I haven't touched the damn thing since I got it in combiner mode...

Thanks, Rated X!

It's your toy, so you can do what you like with it, but I think you're missing out just leaving them forever in the one mode! It's fun now and then to take my gestalt shelf apart, and fill it full of vehicles or smaller robots.
(That being said, I take no responsibility if you take my advice, and your Stunticons end up in a million pieces! )

The Reprolabels do look really nice, but I suppose if you're just leaving him forever combined, they aren't really necessary. All you'd really need is a faction symbol to stick on his chest plate, and those are easy enough to come by.

Mwa ha ha ha ha! My fiendish plan to get everyone to break their Fansproject Stunticons is well on its way to fruition!

I'm joking, of course! I really think that as long as you're careful with them, Drag Strip's canopy aside these guys are not as delicate as a lot of people fear. (And even with that canopy, I've not had any problems with the replacement one I was sent. Not sure if I've just been lucky, or if leaving that screw a bit loose actually helps.)

I do have fun transforming these guys and posing them. Not to say I'm constantly doing so, but I'm not doing it with any less frequency then any of my other figures. Heck, I'm more weary of the official Junkion mold. I haven't transformed Wreck-Gar or Junkheap in ages. (Helps that I have them both, and their each in different modes so that one can ride the other, so each mode still gets representation on my shelf.) Where as these guys, every few weeks I might get an urge to pick 'em up and fiddle with them.
