Except that HTS's shipping department is run by brain dead monkeys. Trust me having patience and waiting on a shipment from BBTS is worthwhile.
I've had no problems with HTS. The shipped items always arrive quick,in great shape & the proper items.
Most the the time the HTS TF prices are cheaper than the BBTS TF toy prices. BBTS doesn't offer free shipping on qualifying orders like HTS does.

I've both heard reports second hand about HTS and was stupid enough to have bought from them myself enough times to quantify my opinion of their services. I will always wait for BBTS because they know what they're doing, and when they don't they're gracious enough about it to deal with the problem in the least painful way possible. HTS on the other hand are clueless beyond words, sending the wrong crap to me MULTIPLE TIMES, sending things in boxes way too big for what's inside them, and taking ice ages to do it!
Lesson learned: If their prices are cheap, there's a reason for it.

Got mine a couple days ago, skipped the Motormaster robot mode and went straight to Gestalt. Instructions are pretty cramped so I went with a combination of Peaugh and TJ Ducket's reviews to complete the transformation, the transformation is very complex and satisfying albeit nerve racking in some areas. The waist is definitely the scariest. As many of you have probably noticed in preparing your Deadends for arm mode, his forearm is pretty empty and open, this is filled in with Menasor's rifle which is disassembled to fill it in. I like to have him hiding his rifle so I use the spare rifle piece that was added late to the production run to fill in a bit.
A great very solid figure, the design takes a lot of ques from the G1 toy, my favorite being that they were able to keep Motormaster's altmode cab on the back of Menasor's legs (it's a little thing, but a great touch).

You can also fold in Deadend's side panels to fill the void left if you remove the folded up gun, gives him a rather flat forearm however

Even so, I definitely enjoy the look of the forearm with the wheels folded in. It's nice to have options.Banjo-Tron wrote:You can also fold in Deadend's side panels to fill the void left if you remove the folded up gun, gives him a rather flat forearm however

Agreed, and then he can hold the rifle without having a big void in his forearm

Finally was able to mess with mine a little today. I transformed him into robot mode and then began the transformation to Menasor. I can't believe how many moving parts there are on this figure. QC on mine is great, almost scary tight in places. The instructions leave a lot to be desired though. Echoing the choir, do yourself a favor and watch a video review.

Bat-signal out to Diamchoc, can I make a request? Can you put the following YouTube videos on the first page of this thread for ease in finding? I've even got the code for you below. Thanks, sir!
[Edit] I'm making this request because of all the advice on watching the reviews to not break our expensive display piece, and I'd like them all in one place.
Peaugh's review
TJ Duckett, I believe (Kuma Style is the YouTube handle)
Bobby L
I think those are the big ones. I didn't find any other reviews in the limited time I have to look.
Thanks, if you can do this!
[Edit2] Woot! Thanks for doing that, Diamchoc!!

I met a few folks this weekend that each have the entire set. All of them said the same thing: Motormaster took a long time to transform and they were happy to leave them in the gestalt mode after transformations.
