Yea, Motormaster looks great!

Still not loving the arm bots ... can always hope for a 4th party release, but I think MM has me sold on the set.

At least until TFC does a set of Stunticons!

It looks sweet very G1 looking , a couple of things , #1 elbows! always a bastard for being loose(going by superion and bruticus he's not to bad actually) , #2 dragstrip yellow? + i hope dead end aint red .

Motormaster however As a truck looks so much better than i thought nice g1 chest plate , the only let down for me is dragstrip.

where is the weapons?

, It doesn't look like the head will have much articulation and it looks very soundwave but some colour should sort that out .

Appantly this guy Transbot was an inside friend of FP. He had these images just sitting in a library in his Photobucket account. Another user just snooped them out and posted them. Transbot was claiming he'd been hacked until he was enlightened about the PB privacy settings. I'm pretty sure his FP insider status may be over soon.

I kind of figured TransBot was BSing something big when he answered some detailed questions based on a "cell phone pic he saw at TFCon"

Circumstances of the reveal aside, I find it very interesting, and kind of sad that the trailer seems to extend and become the legs and the cars just sort of clip on. Oh well, Menasor still looks pretty awesome.

He initially only saw the cellphone pics over at TFCon. Then about two weeks ago, he got some pictures from his FP contact. Those are the ones that got leaked today. Which is what he was referring to when he answered the questions.

My thoughts exactly. But, that's not a deal breaker for me. Still getting this set.

And why are there people not digging Dragstrip being yellow? Wasn't the original version yellow?
I like him, myself. He was my favorite of these guys anyways....

What a fun time! TFW's thread was waaaaaaay too convoluted.

I like the decision to attach the Stunticons as shins on Menasaur instead of turning into legs. I'm not thrilled about the way the forearms looks, specifically on Dead End. It just reminds me too much of FoC Vortex being too wide and thin. Perhaps it's just the angle of the picture, or maybe that it needs to be inhand to fully appreciate.

Foot plates are cool, and look at that chest shield! Overall, glad these pictures finally came to light - it just sucks not knowing more about Motormaster/Menasaur when we've already seen Alt/Bot modes for the other 4 members. So, I'm now looking forward to having Car Crash (and then T-Bone) in hand, and some official pics of Motormaster. And a huge f'in sword!

He looks fantastic! One of the best yet. I particularly like that tuff guy stance he's in there.
And if in fact all of motor master creates the torso and the legs and feet. Like it appears. I can't wait to see his bot mode. He might be quite complicated to transform and very uniquely engineered in regards to the status quo of the combiner concept.

Looking that those two images I'm glad I canceled my pre-orders tbh... Don't like Menasor's legs or elbows. It might win me over in the future, but doubt it.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for something from MMC or TFC.

It's kind of cooler then G1, you can have the Bottom to jump off and aid in battle, kind of like having minions!

I went and ordered both PO bots, now seeing how great MM is.

Well seeing how much of this thing not-motormaster makes up, I'm guessing he'll cost as much as three of the individual bots. Roughly this thing could end up costing as much as Maketoys Giant, and it will be considerably smaller.

Considering that I pretty much place those two companies on the same quality level, I feel less and less like putting forward the cash for this thing, especially after seeing Hasbro's offerings at Toy Fair this year.

I've got no problem with Motormaster making up the upper parts of the legs. In some G1 episodes, the cars just kinda hung off MM's limbs like proto-minicons.

Friggin FINALLY!

I think it lookes exactly right. Menasor in the toon just kinda stuck on cars for his arms and legs, so this is a sort of comrpomise on that. Although it would have been nice if the car integrated with the leg a bit more. I'm not a fan of those elbows either, but it's not a dealbreaker.

It was a must before before and it remains so now. The only thing that dulls my excitement is the wait. I feel jerked around by FP since preorders started before I could really see what I was buying. I really dislike that form of advertising.

I like the leg setup. Would be great if the arms formed similarly. Seems to me thats how he was in the cartoon anyway, but with the leg cars' undersides facing forward. Wonder if they can turn around......Prolly looks better this way. No complaints here, looks good.

This is what happens when fans over hype a product based on the companies track record alone. I do like it but Im not seeing absolute greatness here. Clip on shin cars is lazy. And his head is too small just like Bruticus. And they cant blame the existing Hasbro components this time. It's all on FP to justify any part of the design they did or didnt do. Im still buying him, but Im far more excited about MMC Predaking.

Yeah Predaking is looking way better, but "clip on cars" kinda is how he has always been. Ever the toy the cars where just cars w feet/hands pegged to them.

Don't be too bummed. He's a solid combiner from the looks of it. You can nit pick all ya like but that Motormaster and the way he makes the whole combination work is a stroke of genius if you ask me. The design brings the kibble ratio down to zero and it's an "outside of the box" approach on how to incorporate the trailer into the combiner gimmick. I think he looks tough as nails.
And as for the clip on shin design.....why not? They'd look that way anyhow. Otherwise It would be just the car with a combiner port in the tail pipe and a peg in the front end for the foot and have the swivel gimmick in the foot itself.
This way you loose the instability of a possible weak port connection at the knee and gain a a solid substructure for the bots to combine with. It's a win in my opinion.Just different.
This is all conjecture at this point but i think it's sound.

I gotta agree; it's a solid design choice. I don;'t see any problem using motormaster's trailer as the legs. It's great that they gave us a solid way of havign Scramble City style limbs without sacrifising proportions.

It's too bad they couldn't integrate the car better, but .... whatever. It's not a loss to me.
