idk might wait and see if tfc does a comperable menasor. i'm more concerned about the size of the combiner vs typical classics sized tfs. I mean the thing that suck about the original combiners was they were not much bigger than a regular tf, as not menasor is shaping up to be here vs typical classics.
these guys look great but i think that combiners are supposed to be huge not just a head taller than like optimus for example.

I have a feeling the cars are only going to be the upper arms or lower shins, and Motormaster's parts are going to fill in the rest. For example, I think the forearms/hands will be black add on pieces like Maketoys Giant.
I think this is the best solution, it will allow for the best articulation when it is combined.
However if you do that, then I think Motormaster's trailer would have to be separate from the Motomaster the robot itself, otherwise he would dwarf the other robots.
If my guess is correct, Menasor still could be pretty big....

I don't know that I'd call this downsizing. This appears to be pretty consistent with other FP releases, especially the Bruticus combiner limbs. If this were TFC releasing such a small one, then I could see these sorts of complaints more. Maybe we're getting a little spoiled by some of these 3rd party companies...

As a hole the one thing i keep in mind is the car vs plane size difference so im happy for menasor to be smaller in that respect. if mototmaster is about the same height as fp broadside then with the limbs he shouldent be to bad anyway . has not menasor got a name yet ?.

The FP Bruticus limbs (Explorer/Munitioner) had no choice but to be as small as the Hasbro limbs (Brawl/Vortex) This is the first time FP is actually creating a combiner from scratch rather than "enhancing" a Hasbro combiner that sucked. And since FP is making this set to fit in with classics figures (neo and all) they should have stayed consistent with the average size of a classics car alt mode. The robots can vary slightly depending on transformation, but that alt mode size really should have been taken into consideration since these are meant for collectors displays. Just my honest opinion.

I see what you mean, and I do understand the preference for something more in scale with the Deluxe Classics. I guess I would expect the scale here from FP given the scale of most of their other offerings. Granted, they were constrained by the established Bruticus parts. Still, to be consistent with that combiner, I can understand FP's thinking, if it was this thinking, to stay on the smaller side. But, I'm just guessing at the justification.
In reality, I'm just extremely excited to finally be geting any decent Stunticon set.

If that measurement is correct then Menasor would be great when compared to Herc. The problem I have since seeing some of the size comparisons with Breakdown is that I just can't see them as the kings of the road as they are portrayed in the cartoon because of how tiny their alt modes are. Also as a car fan, I just can't handle seeing a Lamborghini that small when compared to the Autobot cars

I know a lot of people want these to be bigger but in reality, they're close to the right size when compared to their counterparts from the G1 show and toy line--they've always been smaller. Think about how out of scale Motormaster was compared with G1 Prime. I just think it's the price we pay for them being gestalt figures. They're a decent sized deluxe and I'm OK with that: I don't want to pay 3P voyager prices for every gestalt limb/set I own.
I like how Fansproject is handling these, I just wish they'd go ahead and show us Motormaster for crying out loud!
