Something must be happening that could be why they havent released the final colour render. Either that or we have already seen it

While a color render would be nice, I'm not about to get all butthurt about it. I'm already well invested in this and as long as it doesn't come out in hot neon pink I'm sure I'll like it.

FP Motormaster is a total unicorn. They aren't actually going to make one. What we've seen so far weren't actual prototypes, they were just garage kits someone made to show how FP's 4 Combat Racing Team cars could be integrated into such a garage kit to make them combine like the Stunticons. That explains why we haven't seen anything yet and there is no preorder. It also explains why the 4 cars didn't come with a single piece of combiner kibble .

I think others feel the same way as I do, especially based on comments here lately. I am frustrated that I don't have MM yet. I am frustrated that I have seen scant news/prototypes/color renders/preorders. However, I also know that FP has yet to fail in coming through with a project. We might not be happy with the results (Quad U and the major modifications, for example. ) But, they do come through...eventually.

I have enjoyed MMC's method of putting out a lot of images and news. It has led to some great anticipation, which is almost as good as getting the actual item. However, I have never known FP to do this same thing. Maybe some prefer MMC's methods. However, each company will handle it in their own way. I don't think demanding one company behave like another is particularly productive. The only thing we can really do is speak with our wallets.

Now, one complaint that I think is valid. Without news on MM, we are spending time and energy talking about why there is no news on MM rather than talking about the figures themselves. Has anyone done extensive fiddling with the figures thus far? I have found the transformations complicated enough (and am afraid of cracking the windshield) that they sit in car mode awaiting their leader.

I personally haven't handled these guys at all yet. Due to space constraints, and uncertainty over MM, they're remaining in their cardboard prisons for a few months more.

I am similarly frustrated, but am hopeful that any delay is for the sake of improvement. Maybe they're pulling a Talon, and redoing him to solve an unforeseen problem.

Whatever the reason, they haven't failed to bring us an announced product yet. It's just a matter of waiting.

If you put as much energy into establishing contact with Fansproject as you do complaining about them, maybe we'd have those renders by now.

I Agree that MMC's method of communication is great! And I've enjoyed it as well but all they do is communicate. Put out some damn products already instead of telling every little thing you're working on! While Fansproject don't tell you anything this year alone they've put out Code, UUUU, T-Bone, Down Force, Last Chance, and Breakdown. All MMC has put out this year is Hexatron.

not really twiddling my thumbs here but I am patient, there's so much more stuff to do in life then to watch a forum waiting for news.

Theres all the right to complain with zero promotion for the center piece of this set is just stupid . There should be some colour images whats fp been doing all this time they must have the final colours set .

I wouldn't say that I feel they're excessively complicated so much as not as much fun to transform as I would like. I'm sure that sounds weird, but I don't know how else to put it.
I have all 4 of these guys, and I love them, but I don't play with them, I just leave them, quite literally exactly as you said, in gorgeous car modes, displayed, waiting for their leader. At that point, I'll likely display them combined, though who knows?
It's weird because, in contract, my two Toyworld not-Throttlebots actually get played with and absentmindedly transformed while I'm at my desk doing other work. They don't look as cool as the not-Stunticons, but they're somehow more fun and don't feel nearly as fragile.

Oh, and I assumed the most recent pictures we've seen WERE in color, but that MM just has a very black-and-gray-scale scheme.

He's looking very similar to Classics Prime. Maybe they borrowed some design elements from that toy (the upper legs, feet, arm kibble, etc.).
