I really should be selling off my 2007 movie figures (they turned me off the other movie lines) and the Classics I've replaced with 3P stuff, but I'm slack and it just seems like to much workmegatronus wrote:That's all it is: a fantasy. As it is, I'm selling off my classics doubles, and perhaps all of my Movie/Prime toys, to fund my MP obsession.Arctorro wrote:I don't need (or want) a second set of these guys, but where some other teams are concerned, it is a nice fantasy.megatronus wrote:Yea, I dunno if these guys will ever be transformed to bot mode. Would someone care to enlighten me on what these issues are? I've seen it mentioned before but never fully explained.

Mixed feelings. The details are great, but the kibble is overwhelming. Nice head sculpt but it doesn't look like Motormaster.

You mean the kibble in bot mode, right? The gestalt has a backpack, but is pleasantly kibble free.
I re-watched The Key to Vector Sigma parts 1 & 2 yesterday, just to reacquaint myself with the Stunticons![]()
Diesel isn't spot on, but he's definitely close enough for my purposes, and at least the kibble can be construed as heavy weaponry (a la MakeToys' Battle Tanker, though I think Diesel's is more tastefully done).
Stormrider wrote:Yeah, I should have been clearer - yes, I hope the kibble on Motormaster can come off. There is too much on him.

Most of it should be able to come off. Looks like he may be stuck with a backpack and the gestalt connectors on the shoulders, but otherwise he looks OK:

The shoulder connectors can swivel behind the front part of the shoulder so he doesn't have stumps either side of his head.

No early bird discount though. Which makes a £26 ($42) price difference including postage which is probably just a customs charge away from being the same price .

Doesn't Vortex, as Bruticus' arm, here have the exact same elbow that people are complaining about on not-Menasor?

Yotsuyasan wrote:What Prime (preferably with trailer) would match best size-wise in truck mode? I'd guess Hybrid Optimus Prime, but he is a small figure... Maybe too small for this? Anyone here who has any of the other Stunticons in hand, and also has Hybrid Optimus Prime? (I've been waiting to ship my Stuticons until they're all in stock.) Would his truck seem similar in size in comparison to the Stunticon cars as to what we have seen in photos of Motormaster?

Gundam has nothing on many Clanner Mechs.

Might be a bit big. I'll see if I can take some pics with Deluxe Prime over the weekend.
