I've hit ship on my POL as this and Brute Max have just landed so with international shipping and customs hold-ups I should have mine in February.................

Okay, got mine today. I can confirm, for those who may still have had doubts, that I did also get the runner of unpainted mini vehicles. Looks like I'll need a new detail brush and some paints.

I'd post pics, but I feel like it would just be bragging.

Maybe instead I'll ask if there is anything anyone wants to see that hasn't already been photographed, and I'll snap a quick pic or three. The first thing I noticed is the stiffness of the lower body joints. I feel like I'm going to break the figure trying to move the legs at the hip. The feet have a nice Macross Valkrie feel. I think I'll be fiddling with him for some time tonight.

Off to have some joy-joy.. :grin:

[Edit] After running through several of the transformations to start with, I'd like to point out that you may run into some minor flash issues. Some of the friction slots are very difficult to slide tabs into. Just be aware that some light sanding, filing, or scraping with a hobby knife may be warranted.

The figure certainly has an impressive range of flexibility as far as fan modes go. None of them will see the light of day on mine though.

AIGH! Those tiny models are SO SO SO awesome. Huge kudos on a great job painting them. They look fantastic. :grin:

Any tips on colors used to match the toy? Can you divulge your paints? :-?

I plan on doing this myself, but have to buy paints online. Can't match them in person. The downside of living in Arkansas, I suppose. No decent hobby stores.

I just got mine and it's like holding a brick!

Very solid, & lots of modes makes me happy, happy.

Still feel like it is missing ... something ... I'm just not sure what.

But, solid purchase, I'm really happy with him.

Yeah, wow. So I was not prepared mentally for how heavy and huge this guy is! The two different bot modes are a clever, well executed touch. AND with the extra fan modes — like the unlisted non-space carrier, gerwalk, base mode. Love this figure. Totally worth it. Highly recommended. :grin:

Holy crap, the fanmodes! I knew about the aircraft carrier mode, but the rest are blowing my mind right now. Such an amazing figure. Bit of a pain to get into plane mode but otherwise, simply awesome. I was definitely shocked by how big and heavy he is. So badass.

I can't believe people are able to paint the mini vehicles so convincingly. Amazing!
