So after Ricky_Stream showed us all his Overlord, I started thinking about how it was time I got myself a really big transformer. The biggest I currently own is Leader class Nightwatch Prime, who's pretty big, but not big in character, if you know what I mean. So I've been thinking about big transformers, and trying to work out who's my favourite. I think I've narrowed it down to Abominus, Cybertron Metroplex, Piranacon, Ruination and Omega Supreme...

...Okay, so that's not actually very narrow at all, but it's hard to decide! Anyway, I'm wondering what everyone else's fav big guys are (I'm sure by my example that you understand what I mean by 'big guys' :P )

And thanks to the way the board cuts up images, you've nominated Metroplex :P

But I agree. The Omega Supreme mould is just awesome, but Omega Sentinel's colour scheme just pwns poor ol Omega Supreme's.

Is the board still doing the stupid image cutting?

Yea the images are still getting cut. It cuts off just at Sentinel's shoulder.

I'll have to agree, the Omega Sentinel scheme on that mold is just awesome.

But for big guys, I gotta nominate the big man himself: Cybertron Primus. Still Sentinel is one I've been looking for too. Damn its hard to find the add-on bots for Energon Prime.

I just got Armada Unicron. The guy is actually too big for my shelves, so he's literally sitting down with his legs hanging off the edge.

I'm sorry, but if you have to buy ONE big guy, it might as well be the biggest. Brave Maximus is still relatively affordable.

If that is too much money for you, then I'd go with Predaking, he towers over Abominus, Piranacon and Omega Supreme.

If that is too much money, I would do Primus.

Big TFs are great, but the large-scale stuff, like Omega Supreme and the G1 city-bots are the best. I don't have any of those, sadly, but I do have Cyb Primus, Armada Tidal Wave, and the SWTF Darth Star- they can just barely stand up on my shelves. (BTW I'd love to see a pic of Unicron dangling his feet off the edge of a shelf!)

20th DVD Prime, Movie Prime, and Energon Scorponok get credit for being pretty sizeable too.

EDIT- newer posts keep reminding me of other big guys I have: God Ginrai (Powermaster Prime w/ Apex Armor), RiD Omega Prime.

They all come with capes, they are taped to the right side of the inside of the box, so more than likely you just did not see it there. Same thing happened to Spada from Tfwire.com. he couldn't find the cape, until he noticed its taped on the right side of the
inside of the box.

Here
About 4 minutes 40 seconds in he finds it and points to it.

"I like Big 'Bots and I cannot lie,
You other TFans can't deny."

Don't look at me like that.

All jokes aside, I do not own any G1 Big Bots. The only things I do own are the Unicron Trilogy Supreme class figures (all of them, sans Energon Unicron). I love them to death. The most fun is having Omega Supreme and Sentinel in a combined city mode of sorts.

But still, I'm getting Encore Omega Supreme, so while its still a few months away, I'm sure it'll certainly be worth the wait.
