This is an homage to one of my favorite artists Hakua Ugetsu, the conceptual character designer for the anime Bakuretsu Tenshi. The pose was inspired by a piece of his artwork. The name of this piece is also titled after one of his art books (which I have yet to own).
I redesigned her helmet since the last one was starting to make me gag, lol. This time around I was more able to capture the feel I was looking for.
Also, you probably can't see it because of the shadows, but there's a slit on her forearm gauntlet where she mounts her Grazers, the bladed weapons in her first image. Here, she's just strapped with her two favorite plasma guns she's named "Deb"and "Ivory" (A little nod to DMC fans out there)
