First Look at New and Unknown ROTF Redecos

S250 has posted images of four new redecos, presumably belonging to the Transformers Revenge of The Fallen toy line. Here we can see a redeco of Scout Class Dead End, in colors somewhat resembling Generation 1 Wheelie, a red redeco of Knock Out, and redecos of Fast Action Battlers Missile Blast Skids and Grapple Grip Mudflap. The first two redecos are real surprises, especially the G1 Wheelie homage since the name's already taken. The red Knock Out has to resemble something, but what? The closest match is Cybertron Ransack (name's taken as well), followed by G2 Road Rocket. Can't wait to hear the names of those

I'm going to offer up Afterburner and Lightspeed as names, but the lighting bolt harkens to a name like BOLT, or something, if that even has anything to do with it, but it is a nice Wheelie homage... New head sculpt maybe?

Nah, they're probably City Speed Skids and Downtown Grove Mudflap, or something like that.

Too bad Wheelie's name was already wasted on a stupid BLUE R/C TRUCK. That mold is just PERFECT for Wheelie, at least in alt mode.

Screw the Gremlin RC one, this is wheelie in my mind. The deluxe Wheelie has already been scrapped for parts, but once the Legends class one comes out I'll put him with the rest of my ROTF figures and when his new Scout version is released I guess I'll try to fit it in with my Classics/Universe line.
Sometimes, just checking one more store isn't worth it

It has to be a G1 wheelie. Just because the names taken doesnt meant it cant be used again in the same line. Just look at Deadend.

Well they're cashing in on this, and they minus well seeing as they can't use it for Botcon/other lines. However, I'm smelling exclusives when it comes to these scouts... Japanese exclusives. Japan is usually the only ones to offer up cool redecos, and I just don't remember seeing three repaints of a figure in one line.... Oh wait... (Jazz, Bumblebee, Prime..... *facepalm*)

Thing is, the Scout was probably supposed to be named "Detour" (the name appears on the later European inserts) and be a separate character from deluxe Dead End. I'm casting them as such

Dead End in alt mode is great for G1 Wheelie but not so much in bot mode, even with some retooling.

1 - Whatever they name it, it's clearly a Wheelie homage color wise. Maybe they'll give it a one-off name similar to Skyjack becoming Skyfall and a personality closer to G1 Wheelie. Wheels? Wheeler? Freewheel?
2 - Road Rocket was my first thought, too. The bike is certainly the right style to be Road Rocket, and you can put the shoulder-wheels out the same way as RR's were. As we've seen a few G2 homages turn up in other lines now. Or maybe Cybertron Ransack with his Japanese name, Gasket.
3&4 - Repaints of the FABs. They're probably get dorky tagons to the names like all the repeat Bumblebee ones did.

Besides which, I already have three different Jetfires, three different Bonecrushers and five different Blackouts (not including the Evac / Whirl / Grindor nonsense). Surely if Hasbro are going to give us new moulds, best to make them of new charcaters, rather than stuff we've already had a hundred times already?
Like the upcoming Scattorshot, Mindwipe, Dirge, Bludgeon and Breakdown, for example. Besides, for all those clamouring for 'new moulds of old characters', there's some lovely Starscream and Ratchet goodness coming your way. Enough to keep both camps happy, surely?
Can Hasbro really be giving us another red version of the bike mould so soon after Reverb? Here's my theory...
The 'red' bike is actually a orangey-brick red, same as the FAB Mudflap. Both appear to have brown as a secondary colour. So I'm guessing that we're looking at some store-exclusive two-packs here, one with the bike & Mudflap, the other with Skids and the sportscar. Or maybe all four in a big box set, I dunno.
And if we're guessing at names, I'm gonna take a stab at Backstreet for the car, Joyride for the bike.

The only one I really like is the "Wheelie" repaint cause I like the mold. Im just curious why whoever took the pics didnt transform them. The wooden surface leads me to believe these pics are unoffical, so hopfully the photographer will take some unoffical robot pics...
