The F1 racer actually looks kind of cool. I might get him and use him as Dragstrip, since he's probably closer to being in scale with non-HA figures than most other HA basics.

I have to admit that I like this Sandstorm repaint better than the original. And I can't help thinking that if there were more purple on the body of the F1 it would almost remind me a bit of Cybertron series Megatron. The orange or whatever that color is supposed to be needs to be shifted more towards just accent for parts of the appendages instead of being the primary color but otherwise I at least like the vehicle and robot design for it. The 3rd mode is a very uninspired attempt at a flight mode in my opinion and very much makes it seem like a MASK toy or Omni-bots wannabe from G1 days but I'd probably chuck the figure and never use the flight mode anyway if I picked this one up. An F1 wouldn't need a driver if it were just being displayed.

Awesome, a moon rover! Love it. I might be tempted to get it based on that. The F1 car looks pretty good, would make a great Dragstrip, but I don't really collect Stunticons. I'm totally buying the repaint if it looks good though, especially if it's blue & white.

After coming to grips with the 2010 Botcon figures and growing to love them as a continuation of Classics, I can see what you're going for. Having said that, even you admit to liking the more uniform color scheme of the repaint. At this point, I can definitely appreciate strange or loud color schemes. The head on Sandstorm is just completely out of place though.

I'll consider the Sandstorm repaint once I see it in person. The F1 is a definate bought, simply because I love the Stunticons and he's an obvious homage to Dragstrip.

His third mode confuses me at the moment. It's either a sea/air skiff, a sheild, or a mistransformed pickaxe. I don't see the mechtech peg, which would be a big clue.

There it is, thanks! That makes it appear to be a shield, but I'd say you can fanagle an axe/scythe type weapon out of him.

I think the human is the head of the robot. Sort of like Sideways in Transformers Armada. Could it be the legs folding down on either side of his head? They have the same paint colors as well. Sideways will possibly be his name, who knows.
