There are 4 modes present in this picture, yes?
One of them is completely flat to the ground, that's the tank mode. Only the original figure has been designed in such a way to properly achieve it.
One of them is angled upwards, that is the mortar cannon/"mobile lab" mode. The TR and SS86 Perceptor molds are designed to do that mode, but they call it "tank" mode.
The picture that you've reuploaded of the FOURTH time shows G1/eHobby Magnificus in tank mode, and new Legacy/Selects/who knows Magnificus in mortar cannon/"mobile lab" mode.

Is everyone on the same page now?

It could be argued that the version below is a compromise between the tank and mortar cannon modes. It's not exactly the same as the G1 version, but I stand by my original comment. It looks fine as-is. Thus, the tank mode isn't really a problem.

We'll see, I'm quite curious for the full reveal now. As for the tank mode, it doesn't require much. The knobs on the arms just have to be removeable like the G1 toy for the the tank base to be flush against the ground. Of course, wheels would help sell it even more and I don't think they would have been too obtrusive to remove from the G1 accuracy. Would have increased the budget though, for sure.

Nope there's two reasons it can't achieve the tank mode properly, the hinges for the scope stick out enough from his back such that if flat they touch the ground before his legs and the knobs on his arms.... We're unfortunately molded on.

Damn Chefatron got a review posting "Possible" in the title

After seeing the listing where people could buy a Magnificus toy early, I am surprised it took this long to get a video review and a better look at the figure. But now we have that, from Chefatron, along with screencaps of the video. We see Magnificus (the name is a cross between Maximus and Magnify) in his robot mode, microscope mode and mobile laboratory mode. He cannot make a tank mode like the original Microman Microscope toy which this toy is referencing. We still do not know if this will be released as an exclusive in the Legacy line or a Generations Selects release.

I do like that headsculpt, on the right body, it'd would as a Troop Builder.

Same here. I’m glad PrimevsPrime knows how to properly show off a figure as opposed to pictures that are too zoomed in to properly see the thing as a whole.

Yeah, wouldn’t surprise me if they posted a review within the next week or two.

So, is this for sure a SG release and not Selects? I just thought that it was leaked that Soundwave would be the 5th and final entry is SGII...seems awful early to start revealing wave 3 already, unless the speculation about Soundwave was mistaken.

Alpha Trion / Orion Pax is the Pulsecon exclusive I thought.

I feel like I'm going to be buying this figure.

I really like this mold as Perceptor, and it looks even better in Magnificus colors.
