I completely agree.

Here, let's have a contest for everyone.
Close your eyes, and listen to Darth Vader's voice talking. Remember, with your eyes close, visualize a happy, none-Dar Fader scenery, then do the same with Megatron's voice.

He did voices in Baldur's gate? Damn I got to pay more attention.Ballistic90 wrote:I really liked reading Frank Whelker laying the smack down on people that doubt him. Has anyone even heard of his other voices? Like Nibbler from Futurama, or his characters from Baldur's Gate? He has the skill to do the movie single handedly.

It's a two-year old Megatron wishing Optimus luck with his new adventure without his old nemesis (to the point of almost being friends) good luck. That hit home more than any interview I've heard in a while

I'll say. I seemingly don't like seeing half nekkid girls in sigs or avatars in sites/forums that are the complete opposite. I feel this site isn't even worksafe anymore what with questionable sigs and avatars widely used these days.
Now don't get me wrong, I understand everyone can use whatsoever sig/avvie they want to, but, I just have to wonder. How many of you think about what you're doing? Gathered from my experience from the internet in the 90's, I've learned posting things in places that don't seem appropriate enough just doesn't get you a good result. When I use anime forums, my sig's/avvie's are anime related, as on this forum my avatar is Brawl, etc.
This is also why I don't visit the shootfortheedit.com forums much, the sigs and avatar's got so out of hand at one point the bloody forum looked like a Playboy x Victoria's Secret Bulletin Board. I so did not want to get caught viewing that board at work, it would have equaled an instant loss of a job.
Back to the topic, one thing I truly appreciate is at least Welker is in the game. Perhaps one of the weirdest turn of events has got to be the Keith David thing. Here was a bit of news, Keith would be the voice of Barricade, with the news spreading like wildfire that he's voicing the movie Barricade. With the recent Aussie screening and that voice cast list released, now I even wonder if he's even in the game....

You'd be surprised how many breaks people get at work.
Perhaps if you spend more more time being among the working force you'd soon find out it's customary to label links and stuff as NSFW (Not Safe For Work).
Oh, and it's not just work. Even libraries and such. A couple years back some old female librarian will personally, verbally chew you out for anything she see's on screen other than text.
The world is different out there. The internet is no exception.

1 - I don't know who you intended the comment at but i've worked full time since I finished high school.
2 - There are sig guidelines established by the Mods and Admins. If a sig goes over those guidelines they step in and do what they need to do.
3 - Consider this. Even when you're on a break you're using work resources for your own personal use. Who's really at fault here? The person using a sig within guidelines set down by the Administrators of the website, or the person using company resources for themselves?![]()
4 - As far as libraries go, I once again bring up the sig guidelines.
And really, if a sig complies with all the guidelines then why should a person have to consider the situations of others? They're not breaking any rules.
And it's not like those IMVU ads are really appropriate for work either ...YouFearGalvatron wrote:Welker STILL has it.
I don't think anyone doubts that Welker still has it. He just wasn't suited for this movie.
You wouldn't get a 40 year old to play the role of Sam Witwicky would you?
I felt that Welker's Megatron voice didn't suit the movie at all.
