You have to knock him down with something, then run to him and pick him up and throw him a few times, then he'll explode.
Also, when you fight Shockwave (who I think is pretty sweet in the game, I hope they make a toy) you start off throwing things at him, then he'll transform into a robot. You have to fight him hand to hand to beat him. Just keep holding block and keep your shield up while next to him, and wait for the chance to strike. Weapons will not work. After a few hits, Shockwave will transform into a helicoptor and fly to another part of the city, you have to chase hime like 5 or 6 times before you beat him. You gotta be aggressive towards him to win.

But I just bought it yesterday!
I suppose I could drive around and collect cubes which unlock stuff I don't want (movie photos? Please.), but... ARGH!
Twenty-seven years of fandom, and they couldn't find any acual bonus content to add replay value? I wish I had rented this.

Everyone that I talk to who has it for the WII is having a great time. I know I am. Everyone who complains, is complaining either about graphics (fine, understandable although I think they are great), or "The camera makes it hard to play". Poor babies. Cause you know the transformers have fluid human motions like.....wait, they aren't human are they...lol. Get over it, and play the game and have fun folks. Thats the whole reason these consoles were built. To have fun. And I'm a child of the 80's who loves gaming. At some point, you just gotta be a 30 something, grow up, and enjoy the games...
Sey Hey! Life's fun...
While I applaud your attitude, and do share and respect it on most counts, it is only natural to experience certain emotions and then to communicate them. Disappointment to spend 20, 40, 60 dollars on a game that provides less than ten hours of content is a perfectly valid feeling. If you don't personally share that experience, excellent. Enjoy yourself!
Furthermore, you seem to be fairly unfocused in your post. You are frustrated with people who complain one minute, and then people who might not be enjoying the game as much as you are the next. You're on a message board, you know, complaining about complainers. You even give your reasoning for why the game is good, as is your right. Still, isn't that rather like saying, "You shouldn't voice your opinion, but HERE is mine!"
YOu're right, though. Life's fun. Isn't that better, to be agreed with?

Hmmm... your server is blocked at my work, so I'll have to look later.
Are the settings maxed out? For a 'rich gamer you have a very old system.
Regardless, I'll still be getting it. For $30AUD I'm not exactly expecting an epic.

Are you serious? Those can't be anywhere near the max settings. 640*480? C'mon! No/little AA? Does your card support HDR?
I think it a little unfair judging the graphics too harshly based on those shots if thats what your playing.

Just trying to get folks to crawl out of their heavy skins and have a little pure fun. Makes the day better. Thanks for the cretique though. It is appreciated.
's what I do. Signs of the times. I could Atari, Pac-Man and Duck Hunt with the best of 'em. Fact is, though, tastes have become more refined, and people want value for their money. We would have very few great games if developers could sell us just anything, you know.
I enjoy simple pleasures as much as anyone, but I know a "ha, ha, I bet they'll buy THIS," too. When they're sure to sell a million no matter what, why even try?

When I set my game res higher than 800x600, the framerate suffers and becomes almost a slideshow. As stated, I don't have the best system nor do I have any complaints about the graphics. My only complaint is about game play and level design.
My box is not the best example granted. Can someone else post photos?
Also... "Rich" is a name... not a description.

The PSP version is a different game, developed by a different company.maximus primus wrote:i'm getting it for my psp just because i'll play it alot more than on my ps2 or computer. i just hope the graphics will be about the same as for the ps2 version. i don't have a 360 or ps3 just yet but i bet the graphics would be so could i'de probably crap myself if i just saw a second of it.
The reviews of it on this forum have been almost 100% bad. The feedback on the console version is mixed, some like it, some don't, but the PSP version is probably the worst version of this game.
I'd say you're better off getting it from your PS2 or PC and getting something else for your PSP. Or if you have a DS, get the game for that. I've only heard good things about the DS version.

But I need help in a level. Right now I'm playing with BB in the Hoover Dam. I need to destroy/throw5 generators before they explode. But what is it that I need to pick/throw or destroy? I can't seem to find it.

You have to climb the structures where the generators are. I believe there are 3 levels to climb on each structure. The generators are on the very top and glowing green. Also there are certain spots you can only climb to get to them. Hope this helps
