Hello, all! Finally got my new camera so I could take pics of these without them turning into balls of fuzz. I loved the first round of Human Alliance, but the DOTM line has me slightly underwhelmed, especially with human names. After about a minute I brainstormed the obvious: goodbye, NEST, and Yo Joe! My fat fingers,shaky nerves, and eye strain threatened to derail this project on several occasions, but I pushed on and came up with something I'm very pleased with, even if it's not perfectly as I envisioned it. Future HA deluxes will get the same treatment. The Wreckers I'm not sure about at this moment, but something will present itself.

Up now, warrant officer Flint with Thunderhead. Flint was the first character I brainstormed because his HA figure is so incredibly blah it was practically a blank canvas. The beret is made from epoxy, and is a little thicker than I would like but the figure's size was again a limitation for me and my fat fingers. Unfortunately I didn't really know what to do with his uniform. I don't even know what it's supposed to be: a jumpsuit? A smock? So I just opted for painting up his knee and elbow pads and holsters. Now I just wish he was paired up with a better Transformer instead of one that looks like a Jenga tower with half the pieces gone. I may remedy that in the future. Up next: the inevitable opposition - COBRA!
