G1: Comic Shockwave vs. Cartoon Trypticon.

The comics version of Shockwave was a lot more bad ass than the cartoon. Could he single handed defeat the rampaging lizard?

Shockwave helped build Trypticon. If he could blast a way inside of him he could offline him easily. That's a very tall order though even for one of the top 5 most bad ass Decepticons in the comics.

S could shoot T full strength in the head. Take out the brain and the hypnotic eyes. Win for S.
S might have the shutdown codes for T. That would be a quick win for S.
T has plenty of firepower in base mode. He could keep S away and reduce S's chances for a counterstrike.
I think that T would win this unless S has those codes or pulls off a killer move.
