I say G1 Magnus, because the only person able to properly kill him was Sixshot, who was probably the deadliest transformer ever

now megatron vs animated magnus... thats some battle.

animated ultra magnus' motto should read "ITS HAMMER TIME!!"

its impossible to say at this point. we havent seen animated magnus do anything other than stand there and call forth the thunder. if g1 magnus can shoot the hammer out of his hands animated magnus might suck at unarmed combat. he seems like hes getting on in years, so hes likely slow but still incredibly strong. g1 magnus was a great all round soldier, he had the strength and skill, and he was also pretty fast for his size. im not sure if the same can be said for animated magnus.

at this point id say it can go either way, maybe a slight advantage to g1, given his gun probably had greater range and we know how dangerous he is with and without it. animated magnus has relied solely on his hammers lightning attack so far so his abilities without it are in question.

G1 Comic Magnus, he should be among the most powerful Tranformers of all since he managed to defeat Comic Galvatron at one point. Comic Galvatron is possibly the most powerful non-godly transformer in the entire G1 run (it took a rift in time and space to kill him).

I won't vote Animated Magnus unless he manages to overcome a unstoppable killing machine.

I'm leaning towards the G1 Ultra Magnus--even though he was "just a soldier." (I don't remember ever seeing the Transformers: Animated Ultra Magnus. Then again, I've never watched Transformers: Animated.)

This is a hard question. Animated Magnus has some lightning effects, but is an idiot who turns his back to the enemy and falls unconscious from the enemys first attack. However, he can beat cartoon Magnus(as everybody else in the galaxy including Roller and Reflector), but from the comic Magnus he gets beaten.

Animated Magnus beats cartoon Generation 1 Magnus easily never really seen any Magnus comics besides spotlight so.... not sure

the animated Magnus mallet effectively holds RiD Magnus' blue blazes, G1 comic Magnus can get into melee range with either (he got in close on Galvi) and without seeing how ani Magnus fights when his mallet is out of juice, I'm thinking G1 can deal with the rusty veteran of TF animated.
