BBTS has gotten pretty greedy lately. The pre orders for RoTF Thrust and Gears were $27.99 each and they still sold all of them. I bought the original Takara Skywarp for them back when it first came out and payed about $90 if I remember right.

I only use BBTS for their clerence sales now.

i will still keeep an eye for out at walmart just to save 10 r 20.00 if i cant find him in the store before they stopp restocking shelves of this guy only then i will get him at bbts but until then ill keeep an eye out at walmart just to save 10 or 20.00 cheaper at store than online

I got the Takara one when it came out, so I am happy with that. From the picture, I didn't see anything different enough to warrant another purchase.

I think this one is similar to WM Exclusive Starscream in that they're both closer representation to their G1 cartoon counterpart. While the Takara one isn't. :-?

Online vendors like to charge double retail for store exclusives. I mean 50% markup like up $60 to $90 is not their normal style.

Exclusives such as repaints or w/e are pretty weak, but not when its Masterpiece TFs. ;;)

didnt mean exclusives are a joke, just the fact that they claim to be (in this case) a walmart exclusive....yet bbts is selling them. i see alot of really cool store exclusives anywhere but the stores. some of that may be due to scalping though. never once did mp starscream make it to any of my local walmarts. i had to resort to an internet store and pay theyre ridiculous mark up. im just predicting the same for skywarp.

I never seen a MP Starscream at my local WM before, though I've seen some dude carry off 3 of them one time (if that counts). :sad:

I guess you'll have to keep searching, bc WM don't have employees that are as helpful as Target, atleast from my experience with them.

walmart employees in my experience are pretty much worthless. at least in my area. Targets though on the other hand are amazing! actually ask if i need help looking for anything, will tell me if another store has what im looking for. If it wasnt for this one awesome target employee i wouldnt have my newly acquired bruticus maximus. went out of his way and dug in the back to find me the last one!

Reminds me the time that I asked a WM employee that was restocking the toy section if they'll restock the Transformers, as there are several empty pegs, he said no. I walked around the store, bought some other stuff that I needed, walked by the toy asile on the way and saw the same employee restocking the Transformers... #-o
