These are my 2 all time favorite cartoon villains, I have scoured the Net looking for somewhere where maybe this battle had been posted it and all I found was one site that took a vote in which Megatron had won 6-4 in a 10 person vote but there was no further input.. I realize Mumm-Ra seems to have one glaring weakness "His reflection" but Megatron would more then likely want to blast him or would enjoy the combat to the point where he more then likely wouldn't want to vanquish him in such a way.. What does everyone think.. Thanks in advance to those who answer.

The ancient spirits of evil can't save you from a fusion cannon.

Besides, mum's gets his butt kicked by glorified furries on a regular basis. Atleast megs loses to 30 foot robots

(Really I love thundercats, but mumm-ra is goin down)

I gotta go with Mumm-Ra on this. Magic and The Ancient Spirits of Evil would have no problem winning out over some over sized sentient garbage cans. Not to mention neither one of them would fight fair so Decepticons would cheat for megs and the Mutants and Lunatacs would cheat for ole Mumsy. That would then bring into play all of the mystical powers and weapons they all have even though the sword of Plundar would take care of Megs alone. Mumm-Ra would probably go so far as to take over Megs' body with some sort of spell and do whatever. So like I said Magic and ancient evil wins out over technology and Energon boosts any day.

Megatron would simply crush him under foot, after all Mumm-Ra is essentially a pensioner. If that fails, Meg's would terminate him with his fusion cannon.

Yeah taking into account Mumm-Ras magic is huge hes not going to stand toe to toe with Megs.. Nor would he want to face a blast from the fusion cannon!

But don't forget Mumm-Ra can make himself either the same size or even larger then Megs.. I know in the episode vs the Demolisher he grew to a huge size and there is another episode where he is a large as Cats Lair. But normal size Mums would be squashed or vaporized by the fusion cannon! Keep them coming guys!!

season 1 Mumm-ra: megs wins easily because he couldn't look at himself in a mirror and megs might as well be a walking mirror.

season 2 Mumm-ra and up, more of a toss up. Mumm-ra has a lot more trinkets and magic has shown to be effective against the Cons. not to mention some of baddies he has conjured up. the only hitch is if Megs discovers his sarcophagus and blasts it to bits.
