Scorponok is as big as a city or two. Megatron is the size of 5 cars. Scorpy wins. Big time.

Actually only in the cartoon version was Scorponok as large as a city any comic version we saw him in then he is roughly the size of Grimlock. In cartoon Scorponok wins in the comics Megatron owns Scorponok sorry little headmaster and all. Megatron just too brutal of a fighter to lose to Scorponok.

Scorponok was a great deal stronger then Shockwave, so I take it that the same applies to Megatron.

However, Megatron could still pull off a quick victory if he uses the blackhole tap.

Its possible.....

It wonnt be so quick for Megatron, if Scorponok pulls off all his fire power onto Megatron. Then he'd be scrap metal. And in both, Scorponok is way bigger than Megatron anyway.I'd say Scorponok scraps Megatron, as much as i like Megatron.

Yeah, but in the comic books.....

Postby Mighty Scorponok » Tue Mar 13, 2007 6:04 am

Yeah well in the comic books Scorponok was the same size as God Jinrai, (Optimus Prime). Remember that story when Rattbat found that Cube of knowledge or whatever it was, and then Scorponok wanted that for himself, but Starscream got it, made him huge, and then exploded?.Well later on in the story when spawns of Unicron attacked Prime, both Scorponok and prime were twice as big as they were.So that shows to me that Megatron would be smaller several sizes.

i'm thinking.. slightly partial on the thread starter... possibly hostile :P

Big body equals big target. A headmaster can only take so much...

hmm... if shockwave can fire a whole through an omega sentinal (omega supreme being the last one of them and with a spark) and Megs has superior firepower... I see a head shot finish against the slow city former.

Also as for height, i'm leaning on the preportional height differents between Powermaster Prime (Scorpinok) and his cab component (Megatron).

Where did you get that from that Scorponok was a great deal stronger than Shockwave? In the comics Shockwave and Scorponok fought a pretty evenly matched battle that is untill Powermaster Prime interrupted their fight neither one was anywhere achieving victory over the other and there was definately no tell tale signs that said one was stronger than the other. If we are talking comics Scorponok despite Scorponok been the larger of the two Megatron still wins. Just because your larger doesn't necessarily guarantee a victory.

Well, you clearly didn't read it too well.

Ah but if you had read it Shockwave had also knocked Scorponok to the ground earlier in the fight then fired on Scorponok and buried him under a pile of wreckage then flew down to see if his last blast had destroyed Scorponok. Scorponok then surprised Shockwave by bursting through the rubble and grabbed a nearby boat and smashing Shockwave over the head and before Shockwave could recover from his surprise Scorponok managed to knock Shockwave down and just because Scorponok had knocked Shockwave down doesn't mean Shockwave was finished it just meant Prime had intervened before Shockwave could get back to his feet to continue his fight with Scorponok. In issue #6 of marvel Transformers run Shockwave took a full blast from Megatrons fusion cannon which sent him sailing over the landscape for several miles and still got back to his feet to continue his battle with a still weakend Megatron. If Shockwave can get back to his feet after a blast from Megatrons fusion cannon then he can certainly withstand been knocked to the ground by Scorponok. I am sorry but you are greatly mistaken Shockwave was far from finished when Prime arrived infact he was ready to continue if memory serves correctly he flew up into the air and transformed to cannon mode ready to fire on Scorponok but was hit with a huge electrical blast from Circuitbreaker and then Primus transported all the combatants to Cybertron to prepare for the Unicron battle.

ok going by the idw series' i think that megatron would win, however i suspect that scorpinok (through his travels and exploits) would have a few tricks up his proverbial sleeve and leave megatron with some nasty damage.

That was just one punch dude. No way Shockwave was down for the count.
I hope you don't employ this lopsided interpretation of comics whenever you're actually serious or I’m just going to have to ignore you from now on.....oh wait, nothing's changed. :-P

And Megatron wins because I like him better.

Way to go God Sunstreaker I am glad someone else sees the fight between Shockwave and Scorponok the same way I do. I totally agree Megatron wins.

Shockwave first bombed the base Scorponok was in, and later sicked his reject warriors on him. Scorponok was damaged by the initial explosion.

Shockwave got the crap kicked out of him by a half functional Scorponok. Scorponok would have instantly destroyed Shockwave if he was fully functional.

And start using paragraphs, you're making my eyes bleed.

Don't bother, GS only gets a complete kick out of it to disagree with me. But that's all part of our special bond wich we formed way back during the epic TF vs Star Wars thread

Only in Transformers Energon did Megatron kill Scorponok in the G1 universe Megatron and Scorponok never actually met in battle. Although if they had then my money is still on Megatron to win.

Scorponok and Megatron did meet during Timewars, but Galvatron trashed Scorponok in about 5 seconds.

Your right Megatron however trashed Fortress Maximus in time wars right before Galvatron trashed Scorponok so my money is still on Megatron.

If there comparable sizes from the comic old comics, and Timewars being used as anykind of indicator than i have to agree with Galaxion that Megs would win. He should be faster too.

DW/ IDW could be even closer with the headmaster nearly squeaking a victory, though i still think Megs would go the distance.

In the name of Higher Calling or something like that............ Maybe Shockwave trying to aide Scorponok, cause of his Logic computer telling him he can beat Scorponok himself, more so than He can win against Megatron.........

We all know that Scorponok would do anything to be the supreme leader of The Decepticons, while we know That Megatron would fight Scorponok just for the sheer fun of it as well as just to prove the point. Code of Decepticons states that whom ever chalenges the leader if won becomes a new leader. So both would have a good drive to win.
