And while I grew up on the original cartoon, I don't subscribe to the notion that the Classics figures have to be a near-perfect representation of the original characters. I've always believed these figures to homage the characters, not replicate every minute detail.
I don't mind that people would prefer the more G1 head. I do mind that people think the rest of us should like it, too.

I think there is a reason why the line is called "Classics". Maybe youre more of a comic book reader than I am. I live by the G1 cartoon. It was the G1 cartoon that helped Transformers become the "must have" toy of the 80's...not Marvel comics. And definitally not IDW. I personally didnt even know Transformers had a comic book until about 1987. So Im gonna be all over this thing and throw the silly IDW head in my parts box.
