I'm counting this as a game because I'm being played by Microsoft. What kind of company makes the pieces which hold overheating heatsinks into place out of malleable metal which lose the shape over time/after exposure to heat??

Opened the unit (an ordeal and in and of itself), replaced the defective x-clamps with bolts and washers which won't lose their shape and cleaned out/reapplied some thermal paste. System works like new, now.

I'd have having to put more money into this half-assed platform, but damn, I'm going to need some more games and accessories.

You think it's a coincidence that the 360 hardware tends to fall apart, and that Microsoft is primarily a software company?

Even Microsoft's software is crappy.

That's opinion. It's necessary if you're a gamer. Less than a dozen games on my Steam list are available on Mac.

More fun on random sidequests while avoiding the main story line. REturned to Goodsprings and organized the locals against a powder gander group. Back on the powder gangers' naughty list but since I already blew up their HQ, who cares. 8)
After that, hit Camp Golf and used my guns and explosives skills to train a group of under-achieving soldiers how to shoot and throw grenades. Oddly, the grenades all exploded at my feet but it didn't see to affect the results. Finally, ran back to the Boomers' territory and ran their side missions, including repairing a solar panel array, restarting the power generator, clearing out a nest of exploding ants, and lifting a plane up from the bottom of a lake.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

I mean like Windows Movie Maker. Every time I use that thing it freezes up within 2 seconds. And Internet Explorer. I had to change to Firefox a week ago because IE kept giving me a damn error code.

Movie Maker is okay, but if you're an art student or amateur film maker, you really, really shouldn't be using it. IE is also okay, they've been improving recently, but I'm still a FireFox man.

Game Over!

Well, beat the final boss of the game, which was quite similar to those Super Sonic fights. I guess I've reached the point of "Seen it all before" :P My rewards? Unlocked a bonus world and three new features: a boss mode, sound test (a necessity for any game IMO) and Toy Collection, a toy dispenser with the ability to trade doubles with friends. Except I don't have any.
So what now? What else? Treasure Hunting and looking for Secret Levels ;)
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1

Quite a bit done but not enough time to double-post. Moving forward.

Fallout New Vegas
Still ran some more fun for the Boomers. One of their guys had a crush on a Crimson Caravaneer. Set them up and allowed her passage to the Boomers base.
After that, went back to finish up my bit for the Brotherhood of steel. Tracked down repair parts they needed from 3 vaults who's faults included plant-based mutants, a homebase for a chem Raider group, and a vault where a civil war killed most of the inhabitants. As a final request, I was tasked with ascending Black mountain to install communications equipment. Luckily I'd cleared that area previously. 8) For my trouble, was made a member of the BoS and given Power Armor training.
With all my side-quests done, decided to finally go explore New Vegas. Tracked down Benny (the guy who shot me) and he offered to have a sit-down in a hotel suite. I waited and he high-tailed it. D'OH! Oh wait, free presidential suite? Cool. :D
Found his suite and a helpful robot named "Yes,man" who was designed to be helpful but admittedly not able to not tell me stuff. I love lazy programming. I now have the option to try and take over Las Vegas. Cool.
As I left the casino, was contacted by representatives for both the NCR and the legion asking me to speak with their respective leaders. Funny how popular I suddenly am.

[d]Dead Rising 2[/b]
Finally moving the story point along. Managed to Clear TK's train mission but he got away. From there, had to kill time and find Zombrex. Okey-dokey. Found some in a pretty easy-to-reach location. Wish I'd paid attention my first 6 playthroughs. :BANG_HEAD:

Did a lot of stuff. My pretty lady Exile (it's canon!) is cutting a swathe of Force-powered justice through the Galaxy. All that's left is Korriban and the other half of Onderon, then wherever the Force takes us. Also, I managed to make Jedi out of Atton, Mira, and the Disciple. If only I could make Canderous Solidus Snake The Mandalore into a Jedi. because a Force-powered Mandalorian is the perfect definition of Overkill.

(On my second playthrough, I'm probably going to look into one of the Restoration mods)

Kyle was badass enough, but he wasn't a Mandalorian. Interesting fact: he WAS an Imperial Storm Trooper. Wrap your mind around that.

Yup, good times. Well, the some of them, anyway, like meeting Jan on that asteroid. He was a Stormie until he found out the truth about what happened to his father (see Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II for more details), at which point he strapped on the badass pants and decided he'd grow a beard AFTER shutting down the Dark Trooper project. Might I remind you that I'm a huge kriffin' Kyle Katarn fan? And damn, those Dark Forces novellas are hard to find these days.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II:
You remember that scene from Empire Strike back, where Luke goes into that tree, then he fights Darth Vader and wins, but then Vader's face explodes to reveal that's really Luke?

I think I just did that scene's crazy older brother.

Basically a series of flashbacks, starting with the Exile being recruited by a young Jedi named Alek (KotOR fans may know him better with a mechanical jaw), which for some reason Bastila also joined. (Though you can point out the obvious error) This time, I rejected Malak, then fought them all off. (Sorry, Bastila, they didn't give me a choice to spare you) Then a Pyrrhic Victory during the War where for whatever reason the Exile pushes her forces through a freaking minefield. This time, though, I disarmed the mines first, THEN pushed.

After that, a flashback to Atton, Bao-Dur, T3-M4 and the Disciple accusing Kreia (Now in her Darth Trayus getup) of being a Dark Jedi and waitaminute that hasn't happened yet. Then I had to fight--ah crap--Revan. Fortunately, though he could deal out a crapload of damage, he was very physically weak. Incidentally, he used TWO lightsabers, one red (He was Sith in this fight) and one violet, which is the same color I was using.

For my efforts, I got some nice swag, including that violet Lightsaber Revan was using. (Nothing special but full-sized lightsabers are pretty uncommon)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II:
BEATEN! Normally I'd describe how everything worked out in the end but I'm not sure it did. Jedi are still a dying breed, all that's left is the people I trained, Bastila, and probably the Exile, and she's off to go find Revan. Speaking of, the Republic is still going down the crapper, and it actually IS doomed to fall; the True Sith Empire, something that scared the crap out of Revan so bad he waged war on the Republic just so they'd be in fighting condition for the Emperor's eventual return, IS going to end up coming back and taking over in the MMO. Fun times.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty:
BEATEN! I've been playing it for the past couple of days, though I got it for my dad for Christmas, he finished it a while ago. Still kind of fresh so I'll use spoiler tags: Raynor and the Dominion, or at least part of it, put to together a bunch of Xel'Naga artifacts to create an anti-Zerg weapon, good news, it works, better news, it made Kerrigan revert to human form. Bad news, the Dominion has been making the Zerg/Protoss Hybrids from the apocalyptic visions Tassadar, Zeratul and the Overmind have been sharing, and as far as we know, the Dark Voice is still out there, ready to use them to kill everything. Can't wait for Heart of the Swarm.

Borderlands:
BEATEN! Okay, three in a row? Whatever. Cleared Claptrap's Robot Revolution on playthrough 2 as Lilith. Still have a bunch of sidequests I need to tie up, though. She's level 69 (giggity) decked out with crap that isn't Pearlescent but might as well be, and if a lower level player even looks at her, they may in fact burst into flames. Which is why I'm using Brick when I play with Tweezy and a friend of ours. Punching things to death is hella effective, especially when my fists explode!

Batman: Arkham Asylum:
BEATEN! Oh what the hell is this! Really! Played through it earlier this week on my shiny new 20" monitor I got for Christmas. It runs great if you can run it without Steam. Would be better without GFWL and Securom, though.

not for me. I have to turn stuff down and I still get some bad framerate. Typically in wide-open areas, like outside Arkham Mansion. Without Steam, it runs better, still not perfect. Which sucks because of all three of those DRM programs, Steam is the one I actually want.

"Oh, you want to play Arkham Asylum, sure! What's this? Hm, it seems you can't connect to GodAwful...I mean, GWFL. You're internet is out? Excuses! You can still play, but you have to start from the beginning, and you can't save. Don't worry, this is to make sure no one is pirating the game."

Jesus, even Steam stores saves locally, so you can still play your damn games if your internet is out.

Using the desktop shortcut, I'm able to launch the game without starting Steam at all.

I can too, but I have to make it a shortcut to the game files. The shortcut steam gives me launches Steam as well.

First 360 game I bought. Probably should've gone for the PC version instead since mouselook would make this much more, er, playable.

Finished the tutorial; man, I suck at arm-swinging.

Fallout New Vegas
Only 1 1/2 hours to play, but got a good amount done. Went on a photo journey to collect pictures of landmarks for Micheal Angelo. After that, went into the Ultra-luxe to follow up on a supposedly corrupt meat merchangt. Found he was missing his son and decided to help. Turns out the White gloves are former cannibals, though some have not given up the practice and captured the wrong guest. To this end, found a dead investigator, met with his contact, then snuck into the kitchen. Convinced the chef to leave, cooked a recipe designed to replicate human flesh without actually being human flesh, served that to the guests, then freed the captured guest and returned him to his father. In passing that mission, failed the quest that involved killing them both. Oh well. MOving on.
