I never took advantage of the team concept. I rotate my characters far too often to make good use of it. I prefer the X-men legends idea where it was based on costumes more than characters.

When I played X-Men Legends II, costumes pretty much seemed only to look cool. Then again, I didn't play X-Men Legends I.

Holy crap. Doom wasn't too hard with only +5%, I would be excited to see how hard he would've gone down with +50%.

Too bad the PSP version only gets the option of 3 X-men.

EDIT: Add a dash of relevance:

MegaMan: Powered Up:
Beat New Style. Wily was way too much of a push-over. And I only had to beat one tank as a final boss? For SHAME, Wily! No back-up weapon? That's not cool.

Now I'm going for Classic Style, and I took down Cutman and Gutsman.

Hate to double post, but in the interest of reviving the thread...

MegaMan: Powered Up:
Beat Cutman, Gutsman, and I think Bombman. (Though I can't quite remember, nor o I care to check)

Half-Life 2:
Starting over. The game is much smoother (And prettier!) with my GeForce 7. Currently in Route Kanal. Got my suit charged up by a Vortiguant, and I'm about to find the first Headcrab of the game.

Portal:
My...GOD! This game was worth the wait and more! It's not a game where you just sit around and play with the portals, because you're too involved in beating each puzzle. This game kicked Lumines's ass as my favorite puzzle game. (Sorry, Tetris, you're now #3)

I actually beat it TWICE in two days. It can easily be beat in a single sitting, but it's hard not to do multiple play throughs. Hell, the song at the end is worth it. (Written by Johnathan Coulton, who wrote the song Code Monkey!)

And even in the song, there's a line in there that makes it all worth it, where they joke about the player possibly joining up with Black Mesa. (Which is instantly funny to anyone who played Half-Life 1. Also, it is hinted throughout the game that Aperture Science and Black Mesa are rivals)) And to take it further, Aperture Science is mentioned in Half-Life 2: Episode 2. (And is even a big part of the story! How about that!)

Up to chapter 6-2. Was supposed to fight all 100 of the King's vassals, but the increasing rate of the void's expansion changed those plans. Now I have to defeat Mimi again.

Continuing from where I left off, I took down Mimi at Sammer's kingdom, but unfortunately that didn't stop the end of the world. Barely returned to flipside. Returned to Sammer's kingdom to find it completely empty, barren, and blank.
Ran into Mr. L again and faced off against his new Brobot. After the battle, retrieved the pure heart but it was completely depowered having survived a partial end of existence. Upon returning to flipside, my crew was mugged by Dimensio and sent to the afterlife the hard way. Welcome to... The UnderWHERE! Yeah, silly.

While exploring the underwhere, met the queen of the realm and she was able to repower the pure heart. Along the way I ran into Luigi, who remembered nothing of his Mr. L period. The queen let us out of her realm and we took the pure heart to the heart pillar, which opened the door to... The Underwhere?

So continuing my tour through the Underwhere searching for Bowser and Peach, I agreed to help them tame a monster they had locked up. Upon entering the monster's lair, I found Bowser muttering about how the underground people jumped him and locked him in that room. So much for the monster...
Finally reached the exit to the underwhere and reached the heavenly OverThere (this just keeps getting sillier). Found Peach asleep after having eaten a magic fruit. My only options was to find the antithesis of that fruit to wake her up. The effects of each failed fruit were somewhat comical, among them: shrinking Peach, turning her giant, and making her grow a mustache. finally managed to wake her up and reach the OverThere.

Once you find out Deadpool has even funnier lines than Spider-Man, he will quickly become one of your mainstays.

Just made it back from the Comm Tower.

You should try Deadpool's training mission. he fights a dark Spider man and they banter long enough that the dark Spidey's boss has to tell them to shut up and fight.

Super Paper Mario
Reached the Overthere. Found many of the nimbis encased in Ice. Luckily Bowser's flame breath solved that problem. After freeing most of them, found their leader who told us we'd need to collect three orbs from his advisors in order to rebuild a rainbow bridge.
it took a while, but I found the advisors and collected their orbs. Upon crossing the bridge I faced a boss battle with Bonechill (who was easy thanks to Luigi). Also faced the horrifying fact that Luvbi was the pure heart and had to die to become the pure heart again. Oh well, she was a pain anyway. :P
Chapter complete. I now have all the pure hearts. I can only assume activating the next pillar leads straight to Count Bleck.

Half-Life 1 is a masterpiece.

Hey, isn't the character from Portal supposed to be the character from Half-Life: Opposing Force? (fun fact: that same character is also hinted to be in F.E.A.R. )

Anyway, I haven't posted in eons, so here's my progress report:

Return to Castle Wolfenstein [PC]:
Returned to Castle Wolfenstein. (apropriately enough) Took out a bunch of Nazis, including the hot leather-clad ninja bitches.

Reached the tunnels under the Castle. I'm guessing that I'll be fighting more ghosts soon enough.

Drift City [PC]:
Got 1337W422102 to Level 34 and to the third city. Got the coupon for the Unlimit, traded it to my friend.

Exteel [PC]:
Reached Sergeant rank, built my second mech. I now have two, a purple one named Shckwave (gave him the default one-yellow-eye head) and a red and blue one named Orion Pax (when I upgrade him, he'll become Prime).

Unreal Tournament 3 Demo [PC]:
Downloaded it, installed it, had to change my pants. It's epic (pun intended). As a hardcore oldschool Unreal fan, let me tell you, it's good to be back. The game feels more futuristic yet closer to its roots than ever. The return of some classic weapons is a most welcome addition. The Impact Hammer is more badass then ever (gibbing dudes splashes their blood on your helmet!), the Enforcers are back (finally, you can use the weapon you spawn with again - the Assault Rifles from UT2003/4 are useless), and the Stinger makes its valiant return from Unreal 1 (replacing the Minigun)! I sure hope that the Rajorjack/Ripper makes it to the retail version of the game. The updated vehicles are awesome and the hoverboard (which slows down over water, of course /bttf) will make for some hilarious 'Tony Hawk'-style custom maps. And that Blade Runner map with the War of the Worlds mech is just too cool.

Damn it, I'm drooling again.

Nope. Opposing force was a marine by the name of Adrian Bishop. Portal is a random LADY named Chell Johnson.

Although I know where the confusion comes from; The Portal Gun's actual name is the "Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device" which adds up to ASHPD, or, A. SHeParD. However, Shepard is nowhere in the game, nor is anyone else from the Half-Life games. I THINK Portal takes place around the same time as the Black Mesa Incident. (Although why th G-Man would be more interested in Adrian and Gordon, and not someone as intelligent and crafty as Chell is beyond me)

Ah, right, that's it. I remember at the end of OpFor, Shepard was 'relocated' (or something like that) and you don't know what happened to him, and in an earlier version of Portal, the character was a guy, and it was rumoured to be him, or something...

Well, at least Shepard found steady work with Delta Force in F.E.A.R.... before having his flesh melt off his bones by Alma's ghost. He had a good run.

I fixed the graphics problem I was having, which happened to involve updating the drivers for my graphics card. ($60 for a high-end GeForce Series 7? What a deal!)

I started playing again. This time on "Marine" difficulty, which roughly translates to "Normal." I haven't even made it back to Mars City yet, though. And for good reason:

It's FALL! It's roughly 58°F outside, and the sun has set quite some time ago. With my window open and my lamp off, it creates THE perfect atmosphere to play this masterpiece of a game.

Doom 3:
I'm currently in Alpha Labs part 2.

Funny story.

There was this door I had to get through. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the PDA I needed anywhere! I tried the "give all" cheat, but that, for some reason, no longer includes unlocking equipment. (DAMN YOU, ABSENCE OF AN IDKFA CHEAT!)

Being forced to use a THIRD cheat (I had been using God mode, having beaten this game a few times already) I loaded up good ol' No clip, to reach an area just above the door I needed to pass. And, hey! I found the PDA I needed!

Searching this new area to check if I had missed some connection to the previous section of the Alpha Labs, I stumbled on a lonely (And living) scientist! He told me "Blah blah blah, blah blibbidy blah!" I dunno, I wasn't listening. So I shot the floor with my BFG9000, and jacked his PDA. Hey, I know how this ends: WITH ME AS THE SOLE SURVIVOR, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY! AHAHAHAHAAAA!

*Ahem*

So, finally passing the previously impassable door, I ended up in a reactor room of some sort. Being faced with some demons, I happened to notice Sergeant Campbell and Counselor Swann passing by. Firing my BFG at the floor to kill the demons, I recalled something the scientist said:

"Be careful. One stray shot could blow this whole place up."

Passing to where Swann and Campbell were, I noticed their bodies strewn on the floor.

Ooooohh...

I figure it will be okay, since they'll just respawn next time they show up, given that they're not actually AI characters, and most of what they do are scripted sequences)

Tomb Raider: Legend:
Got this for PC. It's just as smooth as the PS2 version.

I just got to the flashback mission in Peru.
