A light switch based on the Matrix of Leadership! Yeah it is kitsch, in a geeky way!
It was difficult to stick to just one idea for the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. My favorite is a light switch, arguably the cheapest and most accessible gadget to use when lighting your darkest hour - or darkest room for that matter.
There was a bunch of ideas I had for this robotic MacGuffin, so I'll just list them all here:
1. Camping lantern. One of those fancy ones with an AM/FM radio.
2. Desk lamp, with Optimus Prime's arm holding the Matrix. It would swivel at the base, elbow, wrist. Very geeky.
3. An actual light fixture for a ceiling. Impress your guests in the dining room.
4. A cigar clipper thingy. For the discriminating geek.
5. A combination padlock.
6. Key Fob with Galvatron chain.
7. A USB dock/charger.
I'm hoping Hasbro or other interested parties consider making something like this.
