Its an homage to Grandus from Battle Stars. Not to Metroplex. He was indeed a base former, and his alt mode was an aircraft carrier on treads, that combined with Star Convoy.

Loving the Animated character pics. I see Seaspray, Cosmos, Ramhorn... but who are the orange and blue 'bots between Rosanna and Zaur?

That design on the bonnet of Tracks, it's so garish, so vulgar. I LOVE IT!! That's a winner.

It would seem as though Hasbro's inclusion of chrome on Generations Perceptor has put Takara on the defensive. There's so much chrome on that figure that it'd probably burn off your retina if you exposed it to the sun.

I too am disappointed with the lack of variation between so many of the United figures.

Maybe Takara finally figured out that people will buy their stuff simply because they believe anything from Japan is better.

Why these things gotta be 3x the price? Tracks and Jazz are major upgrades...what a difference painted wheels look on Jazz.

I don't know if the picture of Frenzy/Rumble, and Wheeljack are takara or not, but I do know that Kup, Scourge, and G2 Prime are pics of Hasbro's version because they are completely unchanged from all the pics we have already seen.
