Generations: Bad news for the UK.

You should remember that UK and Europe in General get stuff really late and that Generations has only been released in the UK last month, late August. Also wave do get skipped in the UK when they contain nothing but toys from an older wave and only one new toy since that new toy will be included in the next wave of new toys. Remember last time Hasbro UK did this? It was Animated and all they meant was that they wouldn't bring two waves over to the UK due to those waves only having one new toy between each other, which was slated to be the re-release for a different wave of new figures.
So seriously calm down, Generations is still young and wave two of that line only contains two new toys which will be in later waves.

So no worry.

Why do you guys ever pay attention to anything Hasbro UK say? Their marketing and communications strategy for their products is just a scaled-up version of their internal communications.
-- Absolutely nothing. They couldn't tell their arse from their face if they had a map with labels.

I also collect Marvel Universe, and it's exactly the same story, we might get the new wave, we might not. The regular stores might get them, they might not.
I still think the stores are as much to blame as they're the people who over order Wave 1 of everything, to the extent where when it doesn't sell, it looks like nobody's interested in the line.
Still, I'd like to be able to explain to someone at Hasbro UK quite how much money I'd be willing to part with if they'd only stock the figures (perhaps in a slightly more mature fashion than slapping them round the face with it).

Not too keen on the fact that the majority of announced figures have arrived in some way and are slowly saturating the market then we have to wait several months for Wreck-Gar and his associates to hit retail
Still, i suppose thats freed up money for me to have a social life again over autumn

He's a really cool figure, I'm looking forward to the Skullgrin repaint.
I notice the original poster hasn't posted again. Suspicious me thinks.

Admittedly yeah, it had me for a while. The troll got the exact reaction they wanted.
I'm starting to question why I paid any attention to a one-off post made by a "lurker" who has no real evidence to back his claim up.
Anyone can write an email, I recommend tossing this whole thread in the trash until some reliable word comes up on the state on Generations in the UK.

Agreed. Incidentally Jazz and Tracks look to be 'Hunt for the Shield', so regardless we should still get them.

I'm willing to beleive the guy. I think Hasblo UKs customer service had no idea what a 'Transformer' was and didn't want to commit itself to selling one. They've had a month to research and have decided although their company makes them they still haven't decided if they want our money yet.

You'll probably get the same email from Donna that we got but thanks for sending it. If several other people send them emails on this subject maybe they'll realise we aren't happy about the way they treat us. Honestly, if they were dealing crack instead of plastic crack we'd have been insulting their lineage and threatening their loved ones by now.
