I like both PE and TDW sets I currently have.
So maybe a better question is this. If I get the PE set now, is there another combiner it would match with, or am I better off waiting?
I would get PE's kit because I like Abominus' torso and head. But if you want something a bit more G1 accurate the wait for TDW. Also as far as I know we haven't seen color images of TDW's kit so maybe it's in G1 cartoon colors or they will release both color versions which is pretty likely.
So ask yourself what you want/prefer:
- I like his torso and head as is and only want better hands, feet and rifles.
- I also want a more cartoon accurate torso in toy colors.
- I also want a more cartoon accurate torso in cartoon colors.
