I'll have to see what his robot looks like, but i think I'll defiantly get Perceptor to go with Darkmount.

Also, just pointing out the obvius, but Darkmount and Perceptor both have the same-ish type of alt mode (treads & wheels)

No one? Not one of you are going to point this out? Well I'm kinda glad I get to be the first to point this out:

They gave him his robot nipples!

Sure, they're on his shoulders now but it makes sense. No parent is going to want to but their children an action figure with stick nipples. Just looking at them make me draw parallels between Wreck-Gar and failed actress Tara Reid. They both have botched boob jobs, smell repulsive, and are both pure trash. Ba-zing

I cannot wait to get this figures. Just look at that Fu-man-chu! The face almost reminds me Lemmy from Motorhead and that just makes me want this figure even more. It's just a ridiculously sexy figure! Henceforth he shall be dubbed amongst the fans: Sex-Gar!

I'm on the fence with perceptor, however I'm really hoping for a Trailbraker repaint (screw reflector!)

Wow, this figure is freaking AWESOME! Also, we've seen pics of Perceptor's bot mode on here somewhere.

Just the look of Wreck Gar...I don't see how they could make him a TV talking goof like the '86 movie. Or a total fool as in Animated. This looks way more Bad@$$.

He needs a posse of Junkions.

I know I'm going to get Perceptor because, you know, he's Perceptor, and thus he's awesome, but I still think they could have come up with a better alternate mode than a civillian half-track. That just doesn't make sense.

e.g.

A normal (amazingly indestructible) pickup truck with some sort of scientific research package in the back. Or maybe an SUV set up for doing research.

Or, if you want to keep the 'optics' element in Perceptor, how about something that packs some heat.

You want an indestructible truck, it should have been a modified Toyota Hilux. I think the fellas at Top Gear have proven time and time again that the Hilux is tougher then a week old steak.

It screams both Perceptor and Trailbreaker ~

All right Wreck Gar is an obvious must buy so the real question is who will be the repaint: Cy-Kill or Oil Slick?

My hope is for Oil Slick with a Cy-Kill Walmart exclusive like Fracture.

Nice. Very nice. A must-buy, for sure. However...I must admit I'm looking forward to seeing what Takara does with him for United. And that is very unusual for me. My only complaints are his fingers are oddly posed, and I wish the upper wheel could have fit on his back or something. Bot mode would have been more streamlined that way. And more spikes would have been cool.

All that aside, :APPLAUSE:

One step closer to completing the movie cast. Now Hasbro, we need Springer for him to spar with! And Kup and Arcee.

And Junkions. If they fail to take advantage of our need to army build with this mold, I gotta say it will be one of their dumbest moves ever. But the holes in the seat give me hope. As well as the fact that they plan ahead for repaints and new heads now.

Come on and admit it...how many of you are going to make a diorama of the Dare to be Stupid dance circle?

Wow, I find that uninteresting and prefer the Animated toy for once. I think it looks more like the original (the Animated one).

With that said, I don't like Wreck-gar much to begin with. Wish they had done someone else instead.

You misinterpret my post (which could be my fault). What I'm saying is that the Animated toy looks more like the Generation 1 toy than this new Generations/Classics toy.

Oh yes, I've got Defender and I love it. And you're right, I doubt Hasbro could top it...but I would still like to see them attempt a proper Springer toy.

I'm pretty certain we're getting Kup per a "cough*kup*cough" comment from Hasbro at BotCon 2010. Need a proper Ultra Magnus as well -- City Commander doesn't count in my book (even though I love it).

I'm starting to think that they're doing all of this to lead up to a proper Hasbro made Arcee toy. After seeing Wreck-Gar, I've got a ton of hope for an Arcee toy now.
