Not sure what the deal is, but I have seen at least 15 different people get him for 60 bucks on the boards.
Can y'all please keep your eyes peeled? At 60 bucks a pop, he won't last long.
Thanks!

Also, check your mail. I got a TRU 20% off one regular item coupon last Saturday. Pretty nifty if we can find him tomorrow.

But my brother stopped by North Lake TRU and they had one Grimlock left on the shelf and in spider wrap and yes, priced at 79.99. So I shot him a pic of my coupon and let him have it. Price came out to 68.47. I have a Grimlock from the original release and wanted another to display in Alt T-Rex mode but I'm not so sure anymore for 80 bucks.

I was afraid the $79.99 price was true. It's still not a bad price but not as good. The 20% off of $60 would have been

Saw the sticker for Sunstorm at the Barrett Toys R Us for the price of $79.99. At that price I did not even check to see if he was available at the desk. really wish other stores with start getting involved in masterpiece figures again.

I'm with ya. I remember getting my MP-01 25th anniversary Prime at Walmart. I got my MP Skywarp on Clearance there too! I'm not a fan of TRU over their Jacked up prices. Though I have found a few stores that have been helpful, I really try to take advantage of their coupons when I can. I am hoping to get one soon in the mail and snag a Sunstorm with it!
Thanks GreatMagnus for the heads up. Glad to know they are hitting Ga!

Those were my first 2 as well. I will probably never be a full run collector of the MP line as I mainly stick to the most significant characters like Prime. If Magnus hit US I might bend on him. 2 fresh Sunstorms on the shelf at Cumberland TRU.

Thanks for the update! It's getting expensive being an MP collector. I don't have much shame in admitting that, in order for me to continue, I have turned to the knock offs on some. I bought Sideswipe and Prowl from Takara, but I bought sun streaker, red alert, and smoke screen knock offs. I did this after I learned that they actually are Takara factory rejects. The flaws are minimal. At 35 dollars free shipping, it's an absolute deal! I can't afford to buy a different color / retooled mold of what I already have for 75-85 bucks a pop.
I just went out to Target in Peachtree City on my lunch break and saw Sky Byte and Roadbuster. On the fence about SB but I will pick up RB for my Wreckers display. I see that they are continuing to provide a sticker sheet....I'm fine with that so long as they keep the cost down on voyagers.
Also, in the event that any of you are collecting the Starwars 6" black series, Target is starting to get in the Biker Scouts w/ bike and also Jabba. The Scouts with bikes are very impressive ( better be for 40 bucks) and are highly detailed. Need to watch out for bad paint apps on the mask though. Of the 4 I have seen, 3 of them here sloppy. Jabba is a pass for me. Looks cool, but 40 dollars for a slug with 3 points of articulation is not enticing.

I PM'd you. A lot of collectors get their panties in a bunch about how other collectors spend their money and blah blah blah.... And I think these boards have some rules about links and I don't feel like referencing them...

The Walmart off of Gresham Rd (Decatur) is about to do a reset on there toy isles, so there might be something to look forward to.
