Superion and Defensor vs Menasor and Bruticus.

Let's take the comic versions, since they are way more balanced (since the cartoon version win by default anyway).

Now who takes this?

I thought I read somewhere that Menasor's supposed to be some kind of 'Super Warrior'. If so, then I'll give this battle to the Decepticons.

But then again, his mind is a bit unstable which would give Superion and Defensor an advantadge. I'm not taking anything away from the Autobots, they're tough, there's no doubt about it, but I just think it comes down to Menasor and how he can handle all the thoughts of the Stunticons.

Somehow I think the Decepticons will win if I remember correctly the one battle fought in the comics between Bruticus and Defensor, Bruticus won that battle. Menasor defeated Superion in the old Marvel comics although he did have unintentional assistance from Circuit Breaker and in Dreamwave issue #4 of War and Peace in the opening sequence it shows Menasor standing over a defeated Defensor. Basing it on these comic facts I say Bruticus and Menasor win this Gestalt battle.

The way I see it, these four are meant to be the exact equals of each other. that's the attitude of the TV show and I see no reason not to apply it two the comics. Unfortunately, both gestalt pairs only got to square off once, and that to me just isn't enough to show which one is the really fighter. If Defensor ever got a chance for a rematch with Bruticus, I'm sure you'd see him come out on top the second time around.

In short, I'd say the fight has a fifty-fifty chance of going either way.

I'm going to say Menasor and Bruticus for most of the reasons mentioned already. Since Menasor was stepping on Defensor in War and Peace it would follow that Menasor beat Defensor in order to do so. Bruticus should be able to outgun Superion anytime.

They're all quite similar in tech specs except Defensor is the most intelligent and Superion is the fastest.

The real danger comes from the smaller guns, which can twist, overload, fracture and increase gravity of things. For example, Air Raid's nega gun can cripple Menasor and Bruticus in one spray of fire.

Superion can carry a Decepticon gestalt to a high altitude and then drop him, causing serious damage.

Defensor can generate a forcefield briefly.

In a straight fight, I think the Autobots can win. However, the Decepticons are more likely to be sneaky and use an ambush. If the Autobots want to win, they should be very vigilant and react as quickly as they can. Defensor should lead since he is more intelligent.
