Ghostbusters cartoon.
I'm looking for an episode where the Ghostbusters were fighting a guy who played a flute, when played it would bring demons from another dimension. I remember this episode because of the animation.

Might it be the episode "Sea Fright" ?
A brief description below...
"a man returning with an ominous song played through an unusual flute"

The original back in the 80's

So you mean the show with the Ape?

Because technically the Filmation Ghostbusters is the original, which is why the Ghostbusters cartoon based on the movie with Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd was called "The Real Ghostbusters."
They both came out in the 1986. So you're gonna have to be more specific.

The episode I'm talking about is Ragnorock and Roll. To my surprise I thought the animation was something to the effect of Call of the Primatives but it wasn't. It's still a good episode.

Good episode, but they got Ragnarok wrong. Ragnarok WAS the Norse version of Apocalypse, but it was supposed to be caused by a massive, epic battle between the Gods. (Specifically Odin and the Good Guys vs. Loki and the Bad Guys)

Re: Ghostbusters cartoon.
I hated Filmamtions GB. There should have been Copyright issues or something.
Anyway, my favourite ep. of the real gb's is when they get Stay Puff out and some Batmonster hitched a ride under this scarf and wreaked havok with NY. Best episode eva! Actually, that's all I remember about it.
Do y'all know if there are any plans to release the Real GB on DVD anytime soon? That would rock!

Yea they had Slimer enter the Containment thingy and get him out to help advertise marshmallows.
I want that show on DVD, just like Batman TAS.
