The issue came out on September 12, 2001 on a Wednesday.
Wednesdays are new comics day. I don't think anyone sold it on Tuesday.

I think every store in my town has given up on them. They haven't stocked any new figures in a month or two.

Stalker is 99% POC v3 Snake Eyes and it appears they decided to remove one rifle he was supposed to come with. Also if the web-gear was cut differently you could peg the "Anti-Armor" knife on his back. On mine the pupils of the eyes are painted so he's always looking upward. The head has really good articulation, a first for a long haired figure. The tan of the uniform allows him to "fit in" with POC Hawk. All in all a good figure but some of us are concerned with the figures coming with less weapons than advertised.

I don't buy a lot of Joes, I just get them when they look extra cool, I think they have more than enough weapons/acc, there is only so much they can hold at any given time.
I want to get a couple more Hazard Vipers for a toxic clean up crew.

I think I phrased what I meant wrong. Each figure, especially the Renegade guys, are now coming with character specific gear. It's a pet peeve of mine when something is mentioned on the file card and isn't there; I know, get a life. I should mention Taiwan has gotten the Renegades figures early and Duke and SE are missing some of their "Specialized" weapons.

Heh! I see what you're sayin', I don't get so hardcore about those type of things missing I guess, just used too it.
Any idea if they will come out with a new Cobra Annihilator? I loved that guy back in the day, I would definitely pick one up as long as they still gave him the helipack.

Evil_the_Nub wrote:I walked into TRU today and they had a box of the 30th anniversary figures just waiting to be rifled through. I got a Hazard Viper since it was the only one that interested me. I guess I'll never find big money Destro or the Jungle B.A.T.
Dagon wrote:I bought an Iron Grenadier, and all that I can really say about him is 'bulk'. His armor or whatever it is is so bulky he can't turn his head, and his backpack is ponderous. He's got this huge chain gun weapon, and while it looks cool when he's holding it, otherwise it just looks like a bulky plastic girder.
No mistake, I like the figure, but everything about him is so solid and blocky.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:As far as I know those are new vehicles. They'll take weapons from GI Joe but not vehicles which ties into that JP figure; remember those Awe Striker redecos with the Resolute Trooper based figures?

Interesting. Even if you don't custom paint those vehicles, they make for great GI Joe vehicles.
