Well, it was retooled then. The Deviant comes with the Cyber Viper, which is a repaint of the Wild Weasel that came with the Target Rattler reissue from last year. He fits right in the cockpit, and the mech is pretty cool. It doesn't really seem to fit in with most Joe stuff, even the gun ship from the movie toy line, which I always thought was pretty out there as a design, but the Deviant looks nice on your shelf.

Thank God it was retooled. The Target ROC RHINO was supposed to be retooled and wasn't. I haven't gotten the mechs or vehicles yet due to waiting for a really good sale or coupon. I did see the new Cobra snow vehicle which looks nice.

I'm more of a causal Joe collector, so some times I can't tell the remolded differences. I do have the RHINO from before ROC, I'm not sure if that was the first time it was released, but I've got one and from the box it didn't look like the ROC one was any different. I found it on clearance and I would have grabbed one if it were different at all, but it sure didn't look like it.

After the great arc with The Coil, we're back to Chuckles in Cobra #10.

This is the confrontation I've been waiting for since #4: Chuckles and Cobra Commander. We last saw Chuckles in an awful situation and now he's willingly joining the Cobra organization. Just how will he get out of this situation... or will he? I can't wait to find out.

I bought a Cobra Ice Cutter and the POC HISS. The HISS is kind of reminicent of the ROC gunship on top of tank treads. But the HISS is my favorite tracked vehicle of all time.

I really lucked out today. TRU had the buy 2 for $11 deal and I found a Firefly and Alley Viper.

I only ever saw 2 Alley Vipers, one each in two different TRU's. People must really like them.

I'm starting to think I may have missed out on an alley viper, what little stock that has shown up here means pickings are slim.

Then again i did find 2 Commanders in a 24 hour period, so there still a bit of hope.

It's brown. I didn't even know it came in black, and am now less happy for having that knowledge.

It's brown. I didn't even know it came in black, and am now less happy for having that knowledge.

Hasbro made a running change. There's no way to tell from the box what you're getting.

I was surprised that Hasbro was rather rigid about not marking the boxes. Perhaps they were worried about lost sales?

I'm guessing they didn't want to increase costs even a little by changing the packaging.

Yes. I'd love a black one, but I'm not going to buy essentially blind boxed 24$ tanks to hopefully get one. I'm cool with the brown one, but I just think the black would look nicer. It sure is big and imposing looking though.

The black HISS will be part of the revision assortment that will include the Fury. It will have a new product #02381 it will be on the bottom right of the box.

It was done at a Hub Experience area at Comic-Con. They took the picture and made the badge on the spot.

Though I'm sure you can make a custom badge using supplies found at Staples.
