I am not sure what to think of Beachhead's 'swim fins'. I am sure they have a cool function like silent footstepping, or climbing walls.

Well, they do sort of make sense in that he's raiding a warehouse, which might be near the docks. Still, I'm not a fan of them and I can't get them to attach to him properly. Not that I'd want him to walk around with them on his back, mind you. Or on his feet.

I'd just wish he had a way to carry all of his guns. I wish they all did.

I'd settle for him being able to hold his assault rifle naturally. I just can't seem to get him to do it. I'll have to keep trying, I guess.

It has come to my attention that there are some stores that haven't stocked POC. I'm willing to help folks out finding NAME figures (troop builders you're on your own). Let me know.

Well yesterday I picked up three figures from poc wave 2:
1. zartan (desert battle version)

2. dusty (desert battle)

3. destro (arctic threat version)

Out of all of these my favorite has to be zartan just because of the way they did him this time. Unstead of having a mask you place over his face to create the disguise he has a whole new head and body armor. Also every thing come with has something to do with either his desert nomad disguise or desert solider disguise. So if you don't already own him run out and pick him up.

Picked up Destro and Desert SE. I got a pre-production Zartan months ago with the Arnold Voslo head. Still gonna get this guy since the cards are numbered and, well, you know. Any idea what the socket looking thing with a tail is. I thought it was for his bird but don't see how it could work.

The bird is falcon so it is hood that you put on the bird it something to do with falcon's and hunting. you'll have to look that part up since I don't know were you would find that info. I passed on desert battle snake eyes because he looks like all the other versions of snake eyes that come with timber. The one that is cool look is Jungle Assault Snake Eyes the only thing I'm not sure about with him is tornado kick or whatever they call it otherwise he is an amazing looking figure.

Sorry I got confused. I got Jungle SE. I haven't opened him (haven't opened any of the figures yet except for Spirit). Desert, Jungle, all the same to me; places that are to hot and humid for me.

I'm honestly starting to get pissed off. The only things I've seen in stores so far is the cycle and ghost hawk. No bravo vehicles or single figures yet.

I've heard Hasbro Canada has released them, as they have been sighted, so either they are extremely delay in my area or they are stocking such little quantities that they aren't lasting.

I hope this improves as I'm hoping to get an extra snowcat for converting into a Shadowtrak.

Believe it or not by me the POC figures are selling better than the new TFs. Vehicles, not so much, but then again it could be people are doing what I'm doing and waiting for a sale.

You guys got the vehicles? All the POC stuff we got were the first wave of the figures, and they're only available at one store in town so far, too.

just the two, and i've seen them at both Zellers and Wal*Mart. Jack all at TRU so far but then again they only just put PCC 5-packs out, so I hope there is just a huge frakin delay getting enough product in 3-language packaging out there.

So help me, when I'm in Seattle next week-end for PAX, if I see figure packs, my VISA better still have room on it. (thanks BBTS for everything that showed up this week....., at least I'll have more conversion fodder arriving shortly.)

See if everybody spoke english everyone would have everything at the same time. By the way I find it odd more figures don't have the new wrists, guys like Beachhead and Spirit could use them.

Thanks again, but I'm not actively looking for anything. Unless I really want something for the comic, I'm more of a "wait until it hit retail and pick it up if I feel like it" kinda guy.

I'd love to, normally if driving we hit the TRU at Northgate, however due to the size of our group and work concerns we are taking the Greyhound late Thursday (at least the pack I am with, some need to train down on Fri morning) and doing the same back Sunday night. Do we know if any of the stores in Downtown (pike/pine/westlake area) have any decent places to check?

I know there is really highly regarded japanese import store in the international district which is right there down town I'm sure someone at pax can direct you, but I don't know if there any stores that carry g.i.joe or transformers. I think the closest is north gate.

I've been to a few places in the I-district before and the only place I remember seeing anything joe related was Pink Gorilla (Pink Godzilla) carrying some of the 25th line, but everything they had was stuff I'd already gotten a hold of.

Worst case I'll check some of the department stores and see if they have anything, I doubt it, but never hurts to check if I have a bit of free time away from the Convention Center.

Hey editor
this is the place to go if your look for japanese import transformers store:
Palace Gifts is a shop in Seattle's Chinatown district that sells most of the Takara release Transformers (Masterpiece, Henkei, Device Label, some Animated, Encore, Binaltech, etc...). He is also a FansProject dealer too. Don't be fooled by the gift shop stuff in the front, just make your way to the back corner.

Palace Gifts
665 South King Street
Seattle, WA 98104-2936
(206) 682-3698

Unless your chinese is really good the best day to go is Saturday between noon and 6pm. Steven is the guy who manages the transformers side of things, and that is the only time that he is there. He is also a collector himself and really nice guy.

Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.
