Hasbro has a poll going for what people would like to see next

Can you imagine I they did this for Transformers or even give us a biweekly Q&A like Star Wars & GI Joe
Gi Joe poll on Habro .com Why can't we get this for TFs

I think Hasbro knows what we want: accurate figures, especially a G1 Arcee, more Classics, G1 re-issues, blah blah blah.......although if there was one of these, I'd say more Anniversary toys.....

Latest Acquisition(s):
BW Tigatron
BW II Flash Lio Convoy
BW Metals Rampage
BW Neo Big Convoy
BW Neo Magmatron

They just know that we are WAY more dedicated than G I Joe fans and will buy ANYTHING they throw at us.
Quoted For Truth.
The approach to the Transformers buying community is infinitely different.

Another reason is that making G.I. Joe's are much easier than making transformers, since TF's have too many moving parts and would require vast amounts of mechanical engineering to create every little of those parts. G. I. Joe's only need a good sculptor.

I think the main reason is that fans of the other franchises, especially SW made more noise than TF fandom.
If people here start making the right amount of noise, they'll listen.

Sadly Bonger is right. Most Transformers collectors grab everything Hasbro puts out. They don't care what they put out, because they know it'll be bought!

I do not think that will happen. Stores in my area are having a hard time keeping shelves stocked.

There's one big reason, and that is Transformers are Hasbro's 3rd best selling action figure line. For the last few years, the toyline has had success, but marginal success when compared to SW and GIJ. If I'm remembering correctly, SW accounted for 10% of hasbro's profits last year, while TF's got a 'showed growth' mention in the financial reports.
But I agree with Hot Rod and I think the tide is changing. In my area I can find whatever I want, practically whenever I want, because there are maybe 4 other guys who buy TF's within a population of 250,000. But with the movie figs out, I've not only seen empty pegs, I've seen kids, little kids, carrying the toys around. At my Walm-mart last night I saw a boy no older than 5 throwing a screaming fit to keep a movie Optimus Prime in the cart. That level of interest hasn't been around TF's in years.
So, the ability for the fans to make decisions on Transformers may change drastically in the coming months.
