These kind of threads are always poping up, lol. I know when I joined back in '02 and they saw I was a female I was getting messages like crazy, lol. I'm glad there's a lot more girls now on this board. I don't post as much as I use to, I use to be a posting queen back in the day. And I can say that I've always been a fan but never got into collecting till Oct. of '02. I'll be a fan for life.

Me and my boyfriend sometimes get into little agruments when we go TF shopping. He likes them but he's not hard core into collecting them like me, but there are some characters he loves and wants. Like the other day I had to let him have the Bumblebee (robot heroes) from the pack. So now I have to get a 2nd one so he can have Soundwave, cause I wasn't going to give it to him. Soundwave is my 2nd fave. Not mention I'm missing Bumblebee, lol.

Very very late-ish post on this whole thing...
I'm proud to say one of the first things me and my then-girlfriend, now fiancee did, after I moved to California to be with her was go to Botcon '98. She bought me G1 Ravage. She accompanied me on the insane quest to find Depth Charge and Rampage, and more recently, stayed up after we got off from our graveyard shift job to get the movie toys.
And the worst part is, in some ways, she might be worse about this whole thing than I am. =p

lol, I have two stories about my TF love and others' love for my TF alter ego.
So, some of you know me from this video, yes?
Story 1: Around January, before school started, I was walking about in my Soundwave costume around campus, and apparently at some point I was holding my helmet under my arm, and my thigh pieces were slipping off. One of my friends who was with me that day heard these two guys in front of her talking about it before class one day. They were chatting about how cool it was, yada yada... but then one of them goes and says, "Yeah, she had her helmet off and she was walking around with it... man that girl is hot! And her legs... just wow!"
I nearly barfed when I heard this story. I'm never wearing spandex ever again.
Story 2: My friend's husband stole one of my campaign posters (Soundwave's campaign poster) and he was showing it off at work and posted it on his wall. A guy came along (I know now his name is Vik) and he was asking about the person behind the whole thing. He said it was his wife's friend, and yes, it's a girl. "Is this Soundwave taken?" he says very smoothly.
"Her name is Sarah."
"Is Sarah taken then?"
So the deal is that I'm going to sign a poster and have my friend pass it on, that reads: "To Vik, not a chance. Heart, Soundwave (aka Sarah)"

I saw that a few months ago and, quite frankly, it's one of the most brilliant Transformers related things I've seen, ever. Then again, I've always been partial to my Transformers with a side of wacky.
