Girls and Transformers

The elections night for that Soundwave campaign was in a bar, and I was in full costume. This drunk guy came up to me and asked "Are you a guy or a girl"
my friend said "You'll never know"
And then he asked me again, this time more angrily. And then I said I was a girl.
"GOOD! Because if you were I guy, I would have totally kicked your ass for dressing up as a robot! It's a good thing you're a girl, because seriously, I would have kicked your ASS SO HARD... You have to understand, I am a VERY drunk guy, and as soon as I see someone dress up as a f*cking robot, I have to kick their ass... so they lay an egg..."
At this point security came and pulled him off me... did I mention he and someone else wouldn't stop harassing me? I even took off my helmet. Anyway, it was pretty much a very bad experience but i think the take home message was if you're a guy dressed up as a TF in a bar, you're gonna get hurt. If you're a girl, you're considered a commodity. End rant.

Reports do suggest that the Batmobile did, in fact, lose a wheel, though.
And hey, Rally, as far as college town bars go, I don't think your situation was unique to persons in costumes. The drunk and belligerent always find some way to hassle the "inferior" male or angle for anyone without a y chromosome.
Of course, I don't even go to bars these days since I don't drink. So maybe everything I have to say is tainted by the biased stink of sobriety.

Incidentally, if you need to repeat that performance, I'd reduce the gesticulations used in it- Soundwave does not express emotion.
It just appears a bit odd.

Of course they won't stop harassing you, you're a woman...in a bar...and in a bar they're in...
Liquid courage allows many people to do things they would not usually do, often with embarrassing results. Sounds like you could have pushed the guy over with ease, if he indeed tried to start making one 'lay eggs'. What you have to worry about is when a gang of them come at you...that gets difficult.
Sorry for the bad experience.
So Soundwave costume...were you at Botcon last summer???

Yeah, that's probably the reason anyway. I had this whole plan to be an ass in the bar and start harassing people as Soundwave, but these guys really put me in a bad mood. Anyway, that aside, no I have never been to a Botcon in my life

We had to change when they outlawed guns a few years ago following the Port Arthur massacre.

Got you beat!
My girlfriend wears a Decpticon t-shirt (skin tight) occassional we we go out clubing, aswell as buying me ridiculasly large ammounts of tf **** (and occasionally licking my tf tattoos, but you dont really need to know that do you?)
Rally i hate to say this, but if u are in anyway hot, or the guy way ugly/hammered then he was most likely hitting on you. Ridiculas i know, but there it is. Men are stooooooopid, and what he said probably ammounted to a poopy icebreaker.

In the industrial area where I work green boxes with the letters V and B on them are a form of currency.
BTW I'm friends with a girl who loves Transformers and was the victim of some improper conduct. I wont let to much information out as it really isn't my place to discuss it as I wasn't involved.

Are you sure? Oh, nevermind. I remember now that Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome hasn't happened yet. "Near Future" and all that jazz.

Female Transfan here. Starscream Fangirl. Not sure what teir I am on by Pulsar's Definition. I have 46 Starscream toys, and A Decepticon Tattoo. Decepticon Insignia on my bedroom wall (painted very big) and Con insignias on anything else I can find. Just a bit insane

Of course, I'm aware that no fandom is pure. Deep within the oily, dark passageways of the internet, there's Transformers fanwork that crosses the fine line of weird "silly" and weird "they don't even have those PARTS". It's nice though, that without digging that deep, the casual observer could mistake us all for normal, wholesome people.
