What can I say? I agree with everything you said. The reason I didn't fix the head and paint is I only have pics of G1 Megs. I have been waiting until I can afford one in the box. I keep on buying other tformers instead though. I'll get one soon though. It's kinda sad though, no G1 Megs, Blaster, or Soundwave in a modest collection of almost 400.

Why do you need a G1 Megs to modify this? Just take some inspiration from the pictures you have and go with what feels right for you.

Here's a quick and filthy db to get across what I mean. It's not great, but it's an idea...

I just want all the details, head and paint to be as close to perfect as possible. Toy perfect, not comic.
Anyway. The head will definitely look better that way

What else can I do with Unicron parts? Oh yeah! Check out Bumblebee in the kitbash gallery. I used part of Unicrons horns for Bumblebee.

Maybe no one cares at this point, but I have done some mods to God Megatron. Some simple paint enhancements and I added a sheild. The sheild is from Unicrons purple planet pieces ppp. The sheild is bordered by Unicrons rings and can hold 6 minicons as a power-up. More later. Pics also.

Nothing fancy, just removed part of one of the pegs from the left arm and attached/glued it to his chest. If you look closely you can see the peg in Robot mode.
