Yeah, a mobile friendly site is definitely needed. Because at the moment, it sucks on mobile. I have a Galaxy Note, with a large screen. I would hate to see how terrible the site looks on something with a smaller screen.

I got an idea. Make it easier for new members to make contact with existing members.
For example I searched buy, sell, trade and found a post that peaked my interest. The post was from 2019 but appeared to still be ongoing. Every time I make a post I get an error, the page was not found.
Just saying, I am quickly loosing interest in your site.

Is there a way to only get (email) notifiactions from unblocked users? I have blocked several users but keep getting notifications of their posts in (a) thread.

DISCLAIMER:

- I'm not sure how to post this. I've already used the "report" and "PM" function and was advised to contract the site owner (which I'm not sure how to do). At this stage, this is NOT a report on anyone's conduct, but rather a potential technical problem with the site. I also couldn't find a way to include attached images in my original PM with Kanrabat, so I didn't think a PM to anyone else would be useful without a screenshot (see below).

Recently, I found that a main site need article post contained an offensive word (IMO) violated Seibertron's rules on swearing/child-appropriate content.

However, after PMing Kanrabat, they pointed out that the post doesn't violate any rules as the offensive term is asterixed at the forum.

This would be fine, but the term isn't asterixed at the main site's news page:

If this post is viewed at the forum, the "f-word" is asterixed, but if it's viewed at the main site, it isn't (thus "breaking" the site rules, or at least the automatic site's filtering system).

I've attached a screenshot of the unasterixed post below. However, due to the site rules, I've edited it to obscure the full term as due diligence. I appreciate the irony of the situation.

Also, I noticed that, in the (automatic) email, regarding my report, it simply stated that the report had been dealt with, without giving any details regarding about the outcome and didn't give a link to the staff that dealt with it (It only have the name, requiring me to go to the site and hunt down the PM link manually). Is there a way for the site to allow staff to include a link to their user profile/PM link and also a summary of the action taken for these forms of "report results"? This would help both sites to understand/communicate the situation more effectively, IMO.

Thanks. I hope it can be fixed. I don't really want to see such language at a TF site. It's kind of a break from the usual state of the internet here, and it's a site I want to recommend to kids that are interested in TFs.

It's also not your responsibility to contact the site owner. If you've contacted a staff member then it should be up to them to bring it to Ryan, not fob you off.

What's with the new intrusive ads? Today I'm getting ads popping up at the bottom of the screen and occasionally intrusive full screen ads. Pretty annoying stuff.

I think you can use an app ad-blocker and then whitelist the ads that are "ok", right? That way, can't you then block the new, intrusive ads?

I certainly could if I didn't want Seibertron to get any ad revenue. For the most part I'm fine with ads it's just the ones that cover part of the screen or have to clicked through that I hate.

I meant whitelisting all the ads EXCEPT the new ones. Maybe it's possible to right-click the offending ads and then copy/paste the URLs (or "parent URL", for want of a better term) into your ad-blocker to just block those ads?

I also am getting these new ads. First time I try to respond or change pages, a full page ad comes up I need to close, and then once that goes away every screen has an ad popping up from the bottom. It's really distracting, and I'm not sure why those are needed since I currently show 11 ads on the right side of my screen and 1 in the banner up top

* A character counter for the signature form so that we can more readily gauge when we're at or over the limit.
* Making the "Display anyway" feature actually work.
* Putting the "issue" thread back in the universal overhead.

Sorry, I couldn't find the "Ask the Staff" thread. Anyway, is there a general "Post pics of your transformers" thread, and one that's other enough to get noticed by those fans that like sharing pics of TFs with each other?
