I got ROTF Optimus Prime!!! =]...hes hard dang...ive only transformed him to truck once and back to robot. Transforming to robot is MUCH more easy than transforming to truck...i keep aligning the arms and chest tabs wrong...thats what stops me =[. Yesterday i spent like 1 hour transforming him to truck for the first time >.<

haha yeah that gets annoying...about 5-8...and when i transformed him back another 5 haha

I just got RotF Prime and took out his batteries. Lights and sounds just aren't worth it. They should include an off button witht he guy.

It took me an hour or so to tranform RotF Prime, but he's pretty easy to me now. He's still really difficult, though. I'd have to say MP Megs beats him out. Because, you always have to be very careful with MP Megs ... even if you know how he transforms. Just because there's a real chance that expencive figure will break. On contrast, Prime's not nearly as expencive, so there isn't that anxiety.

Prime feels WAY more sturdy so yeah, I totally agree with you.

TS OP is too small. He'd be better if he was delux sized. It's not a hard transformation like ROTF OP it's just that it's so tiny and fiddly.

Lining up transformers 2007 Ironhide's rear truck body with his front truck body took me at least 30 minutes to Solve,and positioning Cybertron Mirage's hands in boat to line up the ship's bow pieces took around 15 minutes, But I say the most annoying transformer to change back into vehicle mode...didn't have a vehicle mode at all. Energon Unicron's change from robot to planet was the MOST annoying transformation I have ever done so far. I could not fold his feet up to save my life, not to mention I snapped off his purple planet shell, and popped off the hinges that held the minicon ring together.

The most annoying section of him was folding his feet right so that you could connect those pegs on his minicon ring in place. You had to push that black section UPWARDS first, then fold the feet down. Including a a short break due to frustration, changing him took about nearly two hours. I even thought about taking him back three times. but after i got the hang of him, I loved changing him.
Unfortunately, about 2 years ago, the clasp or minicon gimmick peg that keeps his chest cannon retracted broke or wore out, so his cannon refuses to lock into place. Now the cannon is pushing the purple shell pieces forward, throwing him off symmetry.

Sentinel Prime is by far my most complex transformer, with all the panels and the seperate steps. Binaltech grimlock is very tough too. Though he is not complex in the least, I find Jetfire to be a pain to transform due to having to align all the panels. Its like getting those chest panels and arms to fit in ROTF Optimus' vehicle mode with a factor of ten.

But the reason I am resurecting this thread is because I just got Universe Galvatron and he is one of the toughest transformers to get right. as of right now the tank has a bunch of holes in its back panels and for the life of me I dont know how to make it work

EDIT: I wrote Universe Cybertron first, but I really meant Universe Galvatron

Actually one transformeation scheme I dont think I will ever do again is the combined ROTF Optimus and Jetfire mode. It's just so hard to get right. Plus, there are not too many places it connects creating a lot of pressure on those segments and tabs. And I am not a big fan of that mode either, it looks like a mess.

I have no transformed several molds and all the ones considered hard and by far the award would go to MP Megatron. I like the figure and I don't mind its complexity but I really dislike the force you have to put into some pieces during transformation. I transforemed him to gun but now back to robot I have hs piece that just wont give way. The chest is made up of a few telescoping layers. I get the first one pulled out (with his green and red button) but the lower level, his abdominal area just wont come out. There is a piece of it stuck on one side and it just wont give way. Did anyone else have this problem?

You mean Energon Mirage right?

Also, I take my MP Megs statement back because there is a nice logic to it. It takes time and he is complex and fragile, but he is not that difficult, you get a good sense of where thigns go. The one who I keep not knowing what to do no matter how many itmes I transform him is Alternators Grimlock. I can never get tose hands right at first.

I've always had a hard time with the RX-8 Alternator's head, especially that piece that sticks up behind it in robot mode. Really tough to get back in if it pops out, which it loves to do. But yeah, the Mustang GT may be the trickiest overall.

Generations wreck gar. Never got the motorcycle mode right. Transforming into robot: Easy, no trouble.

Probably for the best if you just leave him in robot mode, trying to transform mine is how I broke the damn thing. There's a problem in the leg, supposedly later uses of the mold fixed it, but I don't have any so I wouldn't know.

Don't have MP Megatron, and I'd rather wait until he gets his smaller do-over to go with MP-10 anyway. He and MP-1 Optimus (MP-10 too but to a much lesser extent) both have a flaw in their whole design process, which is accommodating too many stupid Deryisms (like Optimus' crotch and disappearing tires) and common artist mistakes (Megatron's helmet shape for instance. His model sheet showed him at an angle that caused it to often be drawn more bucketlike than it actually is). Both of them could have been made decently accurate while still hewing close to the original toys' transformation schemes, and turned out better-articulated and more solid for it.

As far as what I've got, ROTF Optimus was a pain at first for me too. What gave me the most trouble wasn't aligning things, but the counterintuitive step of forcefully yanking his chest panels out of his torso. Now I transform him for fun, but WOW was that irritating to try and figure out (got him used).

But now for the main reason I'm posting here:

I've seen a lot of people mention problems with Animated Blitzwing's jet mode. There is a reason for your pain, and that reason is that Animated Blitzwing suffers from assembly error. TFWiki goes into more detail on it.

While not the hardest, RTS Tracks has always given me trouble going back to vehicle mode, specifically getting the trunk to close over the arms. I keep forgetting every time I haven't messed with him in a while that the trunk doesn't close over the arms like it's supposed to, and instead you have to unbend the elbows and attach the forearms to the top of the trunk piece so the arms close WITH the trunk instead.

i pride myself on being able to transform my TF's without instructions. and in the past 10 years theres only a couple that ive had to break my rules for. most notably: MP rodimus.

i was able to transform him into the car mode with a lot of work, but could not for the life of me figure out the winnebago mode, even after reading the instructions. he's never properly been in that mode as long as ive had him.

im sure i could figure it out if i were so inclined. but my roddies are packed away at the moment. i have a specific display in mind for them which requires one of them to be in winnebago mode, so ill figure it out then.

I tried to transform him from robot to car yesterday to pass the time in my 40 min bus ride to work. Without instruction, it took me the entire bus ride.

Have you ever had to transform alternators Tracks? Makes RTS Tracks look like a jumpstarter.

I exaggerate, but yeah, alternators Tracks way harder than RTS. But I guess that's just how alternators were. I found Smokescreen to be pretty hard as well.

i cant say youre wrong, but i had more trouble with RTS tracks than ALT/BT tracks. same issue too, arms in the trunk.
