When did they celebrate the 15th anniversary? Are you talking about the Shout Factory rerelease? And actually IDW comic artist Matt Frank came to my room at BotCon (he's friends with my roomies) and confirmed Hasbro has no interest in BW at the moment.

That's interesting, but it doesn't really confirm anything. Dropping another batch of pretty repaints wouldn't be hard, and even if they do nothing I suspect Takara be on the ball.

Ah, you mistyped. You meant 10th not 15th.
It doesn't confirm anything officially, but he specifically said they won't be doing anything at all. Repaints would constitute as something. Takara will be doing something, even if it's only Blackarachnia and Primal.

Have there been any photos showing Leader class Skywarp in proximity to other lines to get an idea of how he scales? Or if anyone has Leader Thundercracker that would work too. Particularly wondering how Leader class scales in relation to Combiner Wars deluxe and voyager. Thanks.

The Heralds of Unicron.

A boxed set of redecos of CW figures as RiD Sideways (from Groove), pre-Beast Windrazor, Hook, Line, and Sinker... Who combine to form...

G2 Marvel Comics Swarm. Or The Fallen.

Maybe Armada Thrust as a Legends-scale Powerglide redeco chest piece.

There's no way they'd combine to become Unicron with that much purple.

Meanwhile, a strong year for souvenir figures with all Autobot souvenirs. 3 two packs as their own combiner. My guess: Lasercycle Jazz (from Groove), Gobot Bumblebee, Cyberjet Jetfire, Gobot Ironhide, and Thunderclash (Autobot Leader from the Euro line retooled from Motormaster/CW Prime) combine to form Turbomaster Hyperdrive.

Probably with fiction that ties into the General Prime and Sgt. Hound bios. Basically, General Prime and Sgt. Hound were the final phase of a G1/G2 continuity. The war ended and ATB Megatron and Starscream pulled a suicide maneuver, taking out Prime and Hound who were transported to Axiom Nexus by the explosion. My guess would then be that we get a Unicron herald combiner threatening a post-war world without Prime/Hound/Megs/Starscream where Pyro is the leader and the remaining G1 heroes combine to form Hyperdrive, the unproduced RANK 11 Transformer who was supposed to be the boss of the Commander-in-Chief.

Also, you could probably then set up a further redeco the next year with a Thunderclash who becomes Machine War Prime and an ATB Megatron/Starscream release. By that point, I figure, you could be doing a wrap up on the late G1/G2/MW-era apocalyptic stuff and starting to get back into Beast Wars. Maybe a redeco of Oilmaster as a young Double Pretender Optimus Primal or something.

Ah! Fair point. The problem I see is that the sets are supposed to tie-in with the core brand so I'm not sure what we could even see used. Maybe recolors of the Generations figures.

I'm super excited for Sky Lynx and cant wait to preorder him. Also really looking forward to Hound, Wheeljack and Smokescreen. I could care less about the Trailcutter, as I think the Generations figure is better.

Bruticus is another one I must have, and will be giving my kids the FoC versions as soon as I have him preordered! I think it's a great idea making Blast Off a fighter jet, and Brawl looks absolutely fantastic.
