I ALMOST did the same when TFsource made some available on Amazon during the holidays, but Prowl sold out so I got Bluestreak (Streak) instead. Now I'm glad that happened.

Wheeljack's a different case, so who knows.

So really, no visible differences between Takara's and this one.

Tempting, tempting... I'd like to see the final price for it before making a conclusion.

We won't know for sure what it acutally looks like until there are in-hand photos, but it looks good. Awesome for those who missed out on the Takara version. The pricing is unfortunate though, based on the general consensus of how much it's going to be. If you know where to look the Takara version was cheaper.

In the case of Wheeljack and Bumblebee while I believe we'll see those eventually I want to be sure I get the extras so I'm keeping my pre-orders

Based on the two Hasbro Masterpieces I own (first MP Optimus Prime and Skywarp), it's satisfactory. I haven't had any issues with chipping paint or anything like that for my Masterpieces.

Since MP 10 there has been little to no difference. A different app here or there, like with Soundwave but nothing drastically different.

Well, if they couldn't/didn't get the Lamborghini license for Sideswipe, it's not likely that they could do Red Alert without said license either.

I posted these pics way before anyone else and my news credit was removed. I was the one who originally posted them on facebook.

If it's identical to the Takara release, then that means Reprolabel won't have to make a different set of decals, so maybe that's the silver lining.

Already got my Prowl but really looking forward to getting my hands on a Sunstorm.

Both will be Toys"R"Us exclusives, expect Grimlock to start arriving on store shelves soon with Prowl arriving in August.

Oh my gosh....I JUST noticed that in these pictures, Grimlock's dino-mode feet are turned backwards in the out of package pic. With the box presumably available as a reference. Photography fail.

Is anyone besides me tempted to get another MP Grimlock so I can open one? (I still have the original MISP)

Also, I'm curious about the size of Prowl's packaging. I know the new MP packaging isn't one size fits all, but with as small as Prowl is in comparison to Acid Storm and Soundwave, I wonder if his box will be noticeably smaller, too.

Well, Acid Storm and Soundwave had differently-sized boxes from one another, so Prowl's box will probably be a different size too.
